New Begins

The Date

 This week has gone by fast, I have went to lunch with Luke everyday. It's really nice to look forward to something everyday. Sydney and Bo have we been the best of friends and Sydney has been talking about Bo, Tate and Luke since Monday. Everyday after work all the kids would play at the playground. I have fallen fast for Mr. Luke Bryan and its crazy. I don't want to move this too fast but we do have a date for tonight. We are going to be staying at my apartment, the kids are going to be playing while I cook dinner for us. After we eat dinner the kids will hang out in Sydney's room while Luke and I watch movies.
 
   It's five fifty right now and I'm almost done getting ready. I changed out of my work clothes and put on a simple pair of blue jeans and tank top. I put the kids in their room and headed to the kitchen. I was going to make a good southern dish that my mama taught me how to make. I didn't even get everything out before my doorbell went off. He is early, I thought as I walked to the door. I opened it seeing Luke and the boys.
 
   "Hey." I said moving out of the way so they could walk in.

   "Hey, Darlin'" Luke said smiling. I just live how he calls me Darlin' all the time. And his smile is just so contagious that I always find myself smiling with him.

    "You're early." I said closing the door.
 
    "I know, I just couldn't wait any longer to see you."

    "Do you want me to take the boys to Sydney's room so they can play?" I asked

   "Yeah, I'll walk with you."

   "Okay, follow me." I said walking down the hall to her bedroom.

   "Bo!" Sydney yelled jumping up and down at the sight of her friend.

   "Y'all better be good." Luke said talking to his boys.

   "We will." They both said at the same time. Luke followed me into the kitchen.

   "What are we going to make?" Luke asked sitting down at the bar.
 
   "Your going to help me?" I asked with shock in my voice.
 
   "Well, yeah. I do know how to cook." He laughed at the face that I made.

   "I was thinking of making fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and biscuits. Is that okay with you?"

   "That is fine with me, baby." He said standing up. I just love hearing him calling me baby.

   "Okay." I said getting out everything that we need.

   "What would you like me to do?"

   "Put the water on for the potatoes and get the biscuits on the pan?" I asked putting the flour on the chicken.

   "Sure." He said. As he walked by he pinched my butt. HE JUST PINCHED MY BUTT! What? Did he really just pinched my butt.  All Luke could do was laugh.

   "Rally?" I laughed

   "Believe me I would do more if the kids weren't in the other room." Luke said winking at me.

  "You wouldn't do anything on our first date." I said with my cheeks bright red.

  "I wouldn't, I would want for the third date." He replied laughing. We finished cooking, I set the table while Luke got the kids and washed their hands. "Okay, the munchkins are washed, where would you like them to sit?"
 
  "Anywhere, I'm almost done with their plates." I told him handing him two plates. I took the other two and sat them down in front of Sydney and Bo. Luke grabbed our plates and sat them down. I was sitting next to Luke and he placed his hand on my thigh. The kids almost ate everything and they wanted more chicken. After dinner Luke cleaned the kitchen while I got all the kids bathed and dressed in their p.js. They were going to watch movies in Sydney's room, the boys are just going to stay the night here and Luke said that he would get them whenever they wake up. After I laid them down and put the movie on, I walked into the living room. I put in Divergent and walked into the kitchen. "Are you almost done?" I asked walking up to him.

   "Yeah." Luke said drying his hands off. He took my hand and lead me into the living room, he sat down and I sat down by him where our legs are touching. "What movie did you put in?"

   "Divergent, is that okay?" I asked
 
   "Yeah, do you want me to check on the kids before the movie starts?"
  
   "If you don't mind."

   "I don't." Luke said getting up and checking on the kids. Luke came back five minutes later. "They are all asleep." He said sitting down beside me.

   "Wow, I think this is the earliest that my kids have been to sleep." I laughed.

   "Mine too." I started the movie and got up and turned off the lights. I sat back down and he pulled me into his side. I'm not going to lie, I love being in this mans arms. Half way through the movie I felt Luke's eyes on me. "Can I try something." He asked when I turned my head to look at him. All I could do was shake my head. Luke was leaning in closer and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach, I closed my eyes as his breath hit my lips. Luke's lips were on mine, I moved my lips against his. I felt the sparks and everything, his hands were on my waist. My hands were on his shoulders, I can honestly say that I have never kissed someone, that I felt so much sparks. I really want to kiss his lips everyday for the rest of my life.
