"Rubbish, nonsense, there is no way I am going to allow you to be in a police department this is not going to happen" Lady Anastasia was disappointed at her daughter.
"Never in our family has had this haughty child. She is just a disgrace to our family."
"Oh for God's sake you are a lady, you can never be a police officer; that is a man's job"
"My, my! A lady. You can do a simple flip and you want to be a police officer. Now, my lady, this is not a job for a princess like you. Go my lady sit in the fireplace at your mansion read some mystery novels this is as far as you can get. We will marry you off with a law enforcement agent."
While trying to put the badge on her uniform, all those things came rushing to her mind like the downpour outside. Journey down the memory lane was like a hailstorm, every memory hitting her like big balls of ice. She is Lady Elena Wordsworth of San Borrito. A small state in west England. Her father Lord Mathew Wordsworth and her mother Lady Anastasia had always raised her like a princess with such delicacy.
Suddenly her phone rang breaking her out of her reverie. She smiled enthusiastically seeing the caller ID and picked up, "Good morning father, how are you?
"Very good morning to you too; my love. Congratulations my princess on your first day of duty." Lord Arthur Wordsworth said feeling proud of his daughter's achievement.
"Thank you so much dad, I could not have done it without you. I should go now, I love you! father bye, she bid farewell to her father.
"Farewell my child, take care and kick some ass." Oh, how lord Mathew loves to use slang. Elena chuckled and hung up.
.
"Hey, Pete! Have you heard that a lady has been appointed as new Inspector." Sergeant Edward said utter detest can be felt through his words.
"Yeah! I bet she got the job because of her status, besides this is a small town nothing happens here, I am sure higher-ups wanted her to be safe while doing nothing. " Sergeant Peter said mockingly
While coming to her assigned desk after reporting to her seniors, Elena couldn't help but listen to the two Sergeant talking. "Hah! here we go again. Game of proving to be a worthy cop begins now," Elena thought to herself.
"Just because I am a woman does not mean I am not worthy. We should never judge a book by its cover," Elena said undauntedly meeting the two men's eyes. The fire and confidence in her eyes were more than enough to let the men have an idea of what kind of a person she is.

2 years time skip
Her eyes widened at the sight in front of her as soon as she entered the room. Never in her two years career, she has seen such a scene. It gave her nausea and an urge to puke but she kept her cool.
It was a perfect room, well decorated, with luxurious furniture, matching curtains and bed cloth everything was just perfect except the thing in the centre of the room.

The dead body of a bald naked boy all tied up lying in front of the king-sized bed.

Author's Note:
This is the first time I am writing a story here. Kindly keep it in mind that English is not my first language, so if there are any grammatical mistakes I humbly apologize. the story I am going to write here is something I have written in my first language but couldn't really publish it so now I am rewriting it in English. Hope someone will like it.
So this is my first chapter. I don't know if anyone will read this but if someone does let me know if you like it or not.
Thanks.
By the way I don't know anything about England's police system and its counties. So this story is a pure fiction. there is no resemblance in names of characters and places whatsoever.
Thanks
