Elena and the team were looking through everything, from CCTV footage to police reports and emergency center call records, in search for any out of the ordinary incident. It was after three hours of continuous hard work when they stumble upon a report regarding a certain John Doe. Elena was first one to read the report.
As it turns out that an unknown man met with an accident on the a day before they found Alex's body. So now they were in the hospital to check the person. The man had no ID with him, his phone might have been destroyed in the accident. But what was rather astonishing that the man had no finger prints, for some reason his finger prints were destroyed so there was no way to identify him other then DNA, but that was the catch because they did not have the other one to match. They cannot talk to the man because he was in coma, when he will wake up no one knows.
"So, now what? " said Peter disappointingly.
"Just take the DNA sample and ask the forensics to run it through the system. If we are lucky we may find a match." Elena said. She find it suspicious enough that the man had no finger prints. No finger prints means he do not have an id.

Back at the precinct Peter came in with the report grinning . "Looks like it is our lucky day" he said. " This man is a fugitive" added Peter gaining everyone's attention.
"His name is Daniel Storm. He is wanted in the murder of a teenager ten years back. Back then he was able to flee but the officers in charge had taken his DNA." Peter informed his team mates.
"We should told the officers in charge at that time. Do you know the names." Edward asks.
"Well, you see the officer in charge was our captain Mr.Herald and also he was the Daniel Storm managed to get away from. because of which he got punishment as well." Peter replied.
To say Elena was shocked would be an understatement. Her mind was racing, thoughts bouncing in her head. Captain knows the man. The man fled. He had killed a teenager in the past. A teenager has been killed now as well. He fled the scene in past and got in the accident now. Did the man killed Alex or was he the getaway? She thought to herself.
" Who was the person who reported the man.?" Elena asked Peter although she meant to ask about the man's accident yet Peter thought she was asking about the previous incident. So he replied instinctively. Yet somehow this information became the biggest revelation.
"It is just a coincidence or not but Mr. Liam was the one who reported the murder. He was the eye witness" Peter replied. Elena had an odd feeling in her stomach.
"Looks like we are going back to the boys dorm" said Elena.
