You don't want to end up like Lauren Shriver, do you? Make sure you're home by curfew, both of you.
"Kerstin?" Nina's voice came out of nowhere.
"What? Nina? Are you okay?" I said.
"I can't see...it's so dark." she said.
"Can someone turn the light on, please?" I called.
Nothing.
I knew we weren't in the car anymore. We were in a basement, at least what I assumed as a basement because the floor was cold and hard. I tried to move but I couldn't. I realized my feet were chained to the wall, as were Nina's.
"Let us out!" Nina screamed at the top of her lungs.
The door opened and footsteps stomped down the stairs.
"Shut the fuck up!" Ryan hissed.
Nina was crying now. "Let us go..please.." she begged.
"Ryan, relax." another voice came.
"Please, Chris, let me just take the blonde one." Ryan said.
"Go back upstairs, I'm going to talk to them." Chris said.
"Chris.." Ryan said.
Chris turned and grabbed Ryan by his throat, shoving him against the wall, causing it to shake from the impact. Nina and I gasped in fear, watching.
"I said go. You don't want me to get rough with you again, do you?" Chris whispered.
"I love it when you're rough with me." Ryan hissed.
"I bet you do...go upstairs." Chris said, letting go of him.
Ryan looked at Nina, we both noticed that he had a red mark on his neck from Chris' grip but it was slowly fading. He grinned and went back upstairs.
Chris walked over to a metal table that was on the other side of the room. He pulled the chair back, placing it in front of Nina and I before sitting down. He didn't say anything, just stared at us.
"Why are you doing this? What do you want?" I finally said.
"We want a lot of things. Your souls, your bodies...but mainly your blood." Chris said, leaning forward.
Nina leaned back against the wall, I stared at Chris, studying his face.
"Please let us go." Nina said.
"Nina, dear, don't be afraid." Chris said.
"Leave her alone." I said, glaring at him.
"I've been watching you, Kerstin. You're...interesting." Chris said, moving the chair closer to me.
"Don't come near me." I said.
"You have an interesting aurora about yourself." he said.
"Fuck off." I mumbled.
"And you're fiesty, I like that." Chris chuckled.
"You're the ones that killed Lauren." Nina said.
Chris cocked his head at her, a sinister grin appearing on his face.
"Damn...you're clearly not the sterotypical blonde bitch that we all assumed, are you, Nina?"
"I told you!" Nina said, looking at me.
Somehow, without either of us knowing, the others had magically appeared in the basement, standing behind Chris.
"So now we have to kill them, right?" one of them asked.
