I woke up a little later in Chris' arms. His long skinny arms were wrapped around my body, his head nuzzled in the crook of my neck. I placed my hand on his, lifting his hand up and slinking out of his grip. He didn't even stir when I got off the bed. I smiled. He was so cute when he slept.
I pulled on my underwear and one of Chris' shirts. It was long enough to cover everything so I didn't have to put on anything under it and opened the door. I left Chris' room and made my way down the stairs, heading to the living room. I could see a dim light that was flickering from the living room. It was the light of a television.
"Where do they keep getting these thing?!" I said to myself.
Just like in the old house, I didn't remember seeing a television in the room until they really needed it. Maybe they just snap their fingers and something they need appears? No, if that was true, then all of the guys would have girlfriends. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
As I entered the room, two bodies were seated in front of the television. One was Devin and one was Balz. I looked at them and then the screen. They were focused on Bram Stoker's Dracula, the one with Bela Lugosi as the main title character. They seemed highly interested in the movie, not even acknowledging I had entered, even when I sat down by Devin.
"When did we get a television?" I asked.
I recieved a soft chuckle from both of them. "Chris bought it." Balz said.
"When?" I asked. I don't know how he would have had the time.
"When you were in the hospital. We got bored." Devin said.
I scoffed. "Well then. I'm glad my injuries were not causing any worry to the house."
They chuckled again and Devin ruffled my hair, I pushed his hand away but smirked. The three of us focused on the movie. Dracula had turned into a bat. I sighed. I wonder if the boys could turn into bats? I was afraid to ask.
"If only Hollywood knew that vampires were real." I muttered.
"I don't think we'd match up to Count Dracula." Balz said.
"More like Nosferatu." Devin said.
I giggled. "But you guys are attractive."
"Why thank you, Kerstin." they boyh said.
I decided to ask now.
"Can you guys turn into bats?" I asked, looking at them.
"No." a voice said from behind us.
We all turned and saw Ricky. He looked pissed. He was standing behind the couch with his arms crossed over his chest, glaring daggers at the three of us. I didn't know why he was so pissed off and neither did Balz or Devin.
"These are the types of movies that make people like Kerstin believe in shit about vampires that isn't true." Ricky hissed.
I didn't say anything because I didn't know what to say. The next thing I knew, Ricky was right by my side.
"Devin, Josh, turn the t.v. off and go to bed. I need to speak with Kerstin alone." Ricky said.
I looked over at them, praying that one of them would talk back to him and stay. They didn't. I didn't blame them though, they were as much afraid of Ricky as I was. Devin placed a comforting hand on my shoulder, silently telling me it would be okay.
I nodded and watched the two of them stand up. Josh turned the television off before they walked upstairs. I didn't even hear their doors slammed. I wondered if they were lingering, just in case Ricky decided to hurt me, but I knew they weren't.
