*One Month Later*

"Are you ready to marry Chris again?" Angelo asked me.

He and Devin were currently sitting on my bed, watching me as I looked in the mirror at my wedding dress. I sighed and turned to look at them. I wasn't actually marrying Chris but it was part of the game.

I heard a whistle and turned to my left, seeing Ryan and Josh standing there with grins on their faces.

"What?" I asked.

"You look hot." Ryan said.

"You're still a pig." I said, giggling and blushing.

"But really, Kerstin, are you ready for this?" Josh asked.

I shrugged and sat down on my bed. Devin leaned close and began rubbing my shoulders. I sighed softly and leaned against his touch. Balz and Ryan shared an "aww" as they watched us. I smirked and flipped them off.

"Well that was rude." Josh said, pretending to be offended.

There was a knock on the door, making Angelo and I jump. Josh and Ryan disappeared as the door opened and Ricky appeared. He smiled at me. "You look beautiful." he said, walking over.

"What do you want?" Angelo asked.

"Just checking on you guys, we're about to leave anyways. Chris is already there." Ricky said.

I sighed and got up, walking out of the room. Devin followed me and took my hand. I looked over at him and he smiled at me. I returned it as we walked down the stairs and out the front door. I couldn't wait for this to be over with.

~.~.~.~.~

Chris was waiting for me, again. I didn't feel as sick as I had the first time I married him, but I did feel bad. I could tell Chris really wanted to be with me still, but I no longer felt the same about him, I had moved on..he needed to too. Angelo and Ricky were standing beside him. Devin was going to walk me down the asile.

The plan was perfect. Right before we said our vows, Chris was going to turn and snap Ricky's neck. Upon doing so it would set us all free from him, I just hoped it wouldn't backfire, it shouldn't..unless Chris chickens out.

"It'll be okay, Kerstin." Devin whispered.

"I hope so.." I said, looking down.

He took my arm and we began walking down the aisle. I looked over at Angelo who nodded slowly. Chris smiled at me and I returned it as Devin let go of my arm and stood beside Angelo. Chris took my hands in his and looked down at me.

"You look so beautiful, Kerstin..as usual." he whispered.

"Thank you.." I said.

"Anytime." he said.

The guy began reading the vows and I started getting nervous. I was hoping Chris wouldn't chicken out, he didn't give us any intention that he would, but for some reason I kept thinking this was all going to backfire.

"Christopher, do you take Kerstin to be your wife forever and always?" he said.

"I..." Chris stopped and turned around.

He grabbed Ricky by the throat, slamming him against the wall. Ricky pushed him back, slamming him against the opposite wall. With each slam, the building shook. Chris yelped in pain when Ricky bit him. Angelo ran over and grabbed Ricky, throwing him off of Chris and into the window, breaking the glasses.

"Stay out of the light!" someone yelled.

Devin and Chris moved back, along with Angelo. Ricky screamed as the flesh on his hand that was exposed to the sunlight began to burn and blister. Devin growled and before any of us could grab him, he charged at Ricky, tackling him and landing in direct sunlight.

"DEVIN!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

Ricky screamed as the light began burning exposed parts of his flesh, mostly his face. Devin grabbed his throat and with one clean turn, snapped his neck. The building collapsed afterwards.

~.~.~.~.~

I knew I was gone. I couldn't breathe and the weight of the stones were crushing me. Angelo was on top of me though, he had thrown himself on top of me as the building came crumbling down. When I heard the rocks shifting, I tried reaching up, reaching for whomever was trying to get us out from under the rumble.

I felt someone's hand grasp mine and they began pulling. When I was finally out, I opened my eyes to see who was my saviour. I gasped when I saw who it was.

"RYAN!" I screamed, throwing my arms around Ryan Sitkowski.

He held me.

"Ryan! Devin isn't breathing!" Josh's voice came from somewhere behind us.

"Wait.." I said, pulling back. "Did I just hug you?"

"You did." Ryan said.

Angelo groaned as he stood up. I looked back at him, expecting to see him explode into dust but he didn't. I was confused now. Ryan and Josh were clearly alive, Angelo wasn't exploding into dust at the touch of daylight, what the fuck was going on?

"Ryan!" Josh said again.

"I'm coming!" Ryan said, running over.

"What's...what's going on?" I asked.

"We're human again...Ryan and Josh are back.." Angelo said.

"I don't understand." I said.

"By killing Ricky, we all got back what we had wanted for the longest time. Our humanity." Angelo said.

I smiled and threw my arms around Angelo, hugging him. I pulled back and noticed Ryan and Josh trying to give Devin mouth to mouth. I ran over and knelt down beside them. I leaned down and began giving him mouth to mouth and pushing on his chest.

I prayed that he would wake up, he couldn't be dead. As I began crying, Devin's eyes fluttered open and he smiled up at me. "We..did it.." he said.

I smiled and leaned down, kissing him. "We did." I whispered against his lips.

Josh helped him up and then looked at me. "Where's Chris?"

I shrugged. "I'm not sure, I didn't see him before the building collapsed."

"Do you know where he is, Ange?" Josh asked.

Angelo shook his head. "No."

"He'll show up..let's get the hell out of here." Ryan said.

The five of us began walking away from the rubble. "Dude, I'm fucking craving some pancakes right now." Ryan said, causing all of us to laugh.

We were happy now. Ricky was gone and we were free to go about our lives without having to worry about him, but something in the pit of my stomach told me that this wasn't over.

~.~.~.~.~

*Chris*

When the building collapsed, I moved out of the way. I had seen the building crush down on my friends and the one I loved most and I had seen them being saved. Unlike them, I was still a vampire. I hadn't been changed back to a human because Ricky did not change me, I was born into this.

I growled as I watched Kerstin and Devin lace their hands together. The little shit was going to take her from me, unless I stopped him. Kerstin was mine. She had been mine for the longest time and I wasn't about to stand by and let Devin Sola take her away from me. I knew what needed to be done and I could sure as hell do it. If they thought Ricky was a nightmare, I was about to become their greatest fear.

No one fucked with Chris Cerulli.
