"I didn't do shit, Ricky!" I said, finally getting up.

Ricky looked at me and snarled. "How dare you speak to me that way! Your parent must have never taught you to respect your elders, little girl." he said, grabbing my hair and slamming me against the wall.

I looked at him and smirked. "Elder? You look like you're eleven."

Balz and Ryan chuckled.

Ricky glared at them, shutting both of them up and then turned back to me, grabbing my throat. I couldn't help but grin, I knew he couldn't kill me. Chris' hold on me was stronger. At least I thought it was, as Ricky's grip grew tighter my vision started fading.

"Ricky! You're choking her!" Balz said.

Ricky laughed. "Good. Little cunt deserves it." he said.

"Enough." Chris' voice roared from the top of the stairs.

Ricky let me go and I began coughing, trying to get the breath back into my lungs. Chris emerged from the shadows, followed by Angelo and Devin. He looked at me and then Ricky.

"I think you've had your fun for one night, Richard." Chris said.

The guys looked away.

"Don't call me that." Ricky growled.

"Upstairs. Now. We need to have a talk." Chris said.

Ricky stepped towards him. "Remember who made you, Christopher." he whispered, reaching out and touching his chest.

He looked back at me, not saying anything. He sighed after a moment or two and headed for the stairs.

I pulled myself up and ran over to Chris, throwing my arms around him. Chris wrapped a single arm around me, rubbing my back.

"Where were you? I needed you!" I said, pulling back and hitting his chest with my good hand.

"I'm sorry, Kerstin." Chris said in a dull tone.

It was hard to tell if he actually meant it or not, seeing as none of them had emotions anyways. He reached into his pocket, pulling out the necklace. I turned around, lifting my hair up and he placed the necklace around my neck. The same feeling I had before washed over me again.

"You need to keep this on you..it'll protect you from Ricky." Chris said.

"How.." I said.

"Ricky killed Chris' mother, when he did, his blood dropped onto the gem.." Balz said.

"My mother was originally wearing this necklace to protect herself from evil vampires..if the blood of an evil vampire drips onto the gem, the blood stays in there until another evil vampire kills the one wearing it." Chris explained.

My eyes grew wide when he said. He smiled softly.

"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you." he whispered.

"Ricky can't go near the necklace, that's why he got pissed when he saw you wearing it earlier. When you're not wearing it, you're prey to him." Angelo said.

"So all I have to do is keep this on and he won't touch me." I said.

"Exactly." Chris said.

I looked down at the necklace, picking it up. It was such a beautiful piece of jewlery, I couldn't wear it all the time.

"I'm going to go speak with Ricky. Why don't you make friends with our new guest." Chris said, pointing over to the girl.

"Come with me." he said to the boys.
