Slamming my locker with my free hand, I checked what my third class would be in my schedule
And it turned to be P.E.
That made me giddy.
I proceeded to the gym right away before changing into my P.E uniform. I was such in a hurry that I bumped into someone.
"Ouch." I murmured, rubbing my forehead as I cursed some words to this ironman I just ran into.
"Hey." A very familiar voice asked.
I looked up to see who it was. And to my surprise, it was Tim Andrews, my ex-boyfriend.
"Would you please move? I'm already late for my next class." I snapped.
He did as he was told and I walked briskly away from him. Great. This is absolutely great.
I arrived at my class fashionably late but our teacher was not around.
Starting to love this class.
"Kiley!" Chris Turner waved at me. I smiled at him in return and went up the bleachers to site beside him. He's one of my closest friends in Crest High besides Tamarah and Fiona.
"What's up?" I asked him as I took a seat, placing my bag beside me.
"Riven told me you're moving out this Saturday," He stuck his lower lip out. "That means I won't be able to go over during weekends."
"Don't be silly!" I slapped his arm. "If you want, you could move in with us; we're in need of another room mate." I informed him.
He's way better than any other friends of my brother. But hey, he really picks good friends. All of them are cute and hot I must say. Especially Andy Wheeler and Daniel Stanley.
Did I mention that Riven was part of the jocks? He's the leader among them so it makes me hate him when I'm at school.
"Really?" His eyes glowed. "I'm going to call my mom right away. I've been pleading this topic to her for months now." And with that, he just sped off towards the entrance of the gym, cellphone in hand.
Now I was alone.
Opening my phone, I received dozens of text messages from an unknown number.
"Kiley?"
"Hey. I'm sorry about what happened."
"Are you mad?"
"Please reply."
"I miss you."
"Can we talk after school later?"
"I will wait for you at the locker room after school. Hope you'd come."
Then it sunk in that Tim was sending me all those ridiculous text messages. Seriously? Could he just back off and let me live my life in peace and order? We both don't need to talk. After everything that he's done, he has the courage to text me, saying "I miss you"?
No thanks.
"Back." Chris breathed.
"What did your mom say?" I asked him, tucking my phone away.
"She said we'll talk about it when I get home."
"I hope she'd say yes."
"Me too."
Not long after, a student teacher went inside the gym and told us that our P.E teacher got into an accident over the weekend and he will be back next month.
