"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you to school, Kiley?" Mom asked as she pours coffee in her mug while dad flips the newspaper.

"Ugh, mom!" I groaned. "You bought me a car over the weekend. How could you still want to drive me to school?" I said, sounding a bit pissed as I drank from my milk. "I'm going now. Bye. Love you."

"Love you too, sweetie." Dad said softly.

I walked down the porch and into my new, cherry red car which is only a second-hand but it's the latest Ford Mustang. I can't let that slip away easily.

I went inside it and started the engine. It gave soft purr the moment I twisted the key and drove my way to school.

After 10 minutes of traveling, I have reached Crest High. Yes, I've been dreaming on driving myself to school, but I wasn't expecting that all eyes were on me. Must be pretty surprising to them.

This made me excited. Look at all those faces. I pulled my bag closer to me and opened the door. As I step outside, all the eyes started burying in my back like I have a piece of paper that says "STUPID" stuck on my back. I spotted Fiona Baxter and Tamarah LeVloom at the football field just before I pulled up, blabbering something to each other.

"Hey." I greeted happily. They both turned to me and started talking about the people's eyes looking at me.

"Anything new?" Fiona asked. "It seems that people are kinda throwing daggers at you." She added. Giving her a slight smirk, I turned around to see people really  looking at us.

"Maybe because of my hair?" I jokingly asked.

Then Brandon Weasley passed by in front of us "Nice ride, Kiley." He nodded at me, causing my two friends to turn around.

"Holy smokes." They both said in sync.

"Like it?" I asked, feeling proud.

"Hell yeah! We should go on a roadtrip later!"

I was about to tell them the story of how and where I got it, but the first bell rang and all students ran like there's a rush hour. Tamarah and I had the same class which is Geography while Fiona had Science which was at the other end of the building.

"See you later." Fiona waved goodbye and strode off.

As we were nearing Mr. Gonzales' classroom, a bunch of students crowded the door.

I elbowed Tamarah who was so busy texting someone. "Hey, what do you think is going on there?" I asked her.

She still fixed her gaze on her phone as she responded. "Who knows? Maybe Paige got another boyfriend."

Paige Hammington. The sound of her name irritates me so much. She's the Queen Bee and most popular girl at school; not to mention her two sidekicks: Sophie Sanders and.... I forgot her name.

I tapped Julia Martin's back to ask her what's all the commotion about.

"I guess Mr. Gonzales changed the seat plan." She said, shrugging. I shoved her out of the way and took a look of the new arrangement which to my surprise, I was now seated at the back.

"Tamarah. Will you look at this. It's so ridiculous!" She looked up from her phone and scanned the paper for her name.

"Golly. I'm at the front row of the room." saying it like it doesn't really bother her, and looked down again on her phone.

"Lucky you, I'm now seated at the back."

A cough made our heads turn and found Mr. Gonzales holding some books, ready to give a lecture and looking at us.
