"Nice one, bro." I hear Brandon said. "But you could've gone easy with Jase." Everybody looked at Brandon, helping poor Jase stand. Well, he had a bleeding nose. Who wouldn't anyway? a basketball an be deceiving. It may look lightweight but it's as heavy as a bowling ball, I think.

"I don't care." Riven spat.

My hand hurts so bad 10 minutes after knocking that girl. Now I realized that adrenaline rush has it's own pros and cons. Come to think of it, Riven also deserves a punch. I mean, what kind of boyfriend doesn't mention his sister's name to his girlfriend?

The warning bell rang, and students quickly rushed to their classrooms but I had to go to the school clinic quickly to aid my hand. I tossed my car keys to Riven before going separate ways and he ran off to catch up with Jase and Brandon. My trip to the clinic was a bit lonely, to be honest. In my 4 years at Crest High, I never once had to go there. So obviously, it was my first time. And since I'm all alone, I had the chance to think about last night. Same questions echoed inside my mind. Who was that? What does he want? Why did he do this? What does he look like? Does he know a lot about me? These questions just rattle back and forth inside my head. I try to think of an answer to all these questions but the more I do, the more questions come. All of that thinking made me wander off a little farther from the clinic and stopped in front of the music room. I see a familiar figure playing the guitar but I couldn't quite see clearly so I opened the door just to find Tim. He looked up and smiled.

"Hey." He lightly said, placing the guitar slowly on a stand.

"Yeah, I gotta go." I turned around quickly as I can but he held my injured hand. I squinted in pain and it made him look at my hand.

"You're bleeding." He examined my hand. I want to pull it away but it's so painful to even touch it, how much more if I move it? "Let's go to the clinic." He accompanied me on the way there. The problem with Tim is that he cares a lot for anybody and when I say anybody, I really mean a lot of girls. Hence, the break-up.

We reached the clinic in about 2 minutes. There were not a lot of students so it was easier to find my way.

"I'll wait outside." Tim said. I opened the door to see Sky Evans. Yes, my classmate, the exchange student, or whatever you call him. he was sitting on a bed while the nurse wrapped a gauze in his arm. He looked up at me, his jade eyes twinkling in the fluorescent light. The air from the air-conditioner slowly blowing his messy hair. He smiled at me, then looked back at the nurse who was finishing up. My heart raced a little, and I forgot about my hurting hand for a while. My surroundings just came into a blur.

Sky brought me back to reality. "Hey" he said. Okay, weird. familiar voice again.

"H-hey." I smiled. "What brings you here?"

He nodded at the nurse and said his thanks then stood up. "A loose dog attacked me on the way here. How about you?"

I sat on the bed he was sitting in and he propped himself in a spare plastic chair in front of me. I look outside to see Tim having a phone call and smiling like an idiot. Okay, he's probably talking to his side chicks or whatever.

"Well, I punched my brother's ex-girlfriend earlier." I squint again as the nurse tries to put providone-iodine with a cotton ball. Sky laughed at me and I swear he is the cutest of all when he does that.

"Well, I have to go." He stood up from the chair and proceeded to the door. I look at him sadly, why does he have to go so soon? I just got here, he could've kissed my booboo too, then I would feel better. Jesus, what am I saying? I sound like one of those weird and flirty cheerleaders hungry for everybody's attention.

He looked back at me and asked "Do you have class at 3:30?"

For a moment, I was taken aback. "N-no. My last class ends at 3 o'clock."

"Great," he opened the door. "Can you meet me in the library at 3:30?"

"O-okay." Then he went off. I suddenly felt numb but whatever, Sky Evans talked to me! And I lived to tell the tale to everybody. I thanked the nurse after he finished wrapping my hand with a spare gauze.

"Well, nice to meet you," he checked the log book for my name "Kiley Wakefield." he closed it and smiled at me. "I have seen you often around, but never really got the chance to say hi." Okay, stalker.

"Nice to meet you too, uhhh.."

"It's Daniel, Daniel Frederick." We both shook hands and exchanged weird looks. "Sorry, we kinda met in a wrong time, didn't we?" He sounded horrified. Well I do recognize him from somewhere but if I don't have a bad memory I could've remembered it. "I don't usually come, but I've been doing a part-time job here. We have a few same classes." Okay, that explains it. I never really cared much about other people anyway.

"Oh, well, I'll see you later, Daniel."

He giggled a little and nodded yes then waved goodbye to me. Must admit, he is hella cute too. he had long hair that reached just above his shoulders. He had dark brown eyes and I can't deny, it was captivating but hey, let's not forget the real deal here, Sky Evans.

I went out of the clinic to find a bored Tim who's playing Candy Crush. "I gotta go." I told him. Don't wanna end up with this dog again. "I'm late." I finally said and turned around.

"Can we meet after school?" He suddenly burst. "I want to have a decent conversation." Well I didn't want to have anything associated with him anymore but we could remain friends if he didn't really wanna cut ties.

"Sorry," I walked backwards. "I have some place to be later, just give me a call instead or better yet, don't."

I ran as fast as I could get to class. I felt a little giddy when I saw Sky inside, and that he's taking the same classes as I do. He looked over me and smiled. Well, all of them were looking at me but only Sky had the time to smile.

Okay, another update for ya'll. A little boring, yes, but hey don't forget to vote always!!!!
