**IMPORTANT AUTHOR'S NOTE AT THE END**

"Are you sure you will be safe here?" Dad asked for the tenth time today. We had already moved into our apartment, and I hate to say this but it's awesome and decent. It's pretty.

The walls were painted elegant white. The couch is gray, and the three rooms are located at the left wing of the entire apartment. Though I never had a chance to bring my stuff in since we were still shoving almost everything we have into the house.

"Yes, dad. We will be fine. You said that the apartment has CCTV cameras installed in every inch of the place. So I guess there won't be a problem." Riven said as he carries another box and places it in the middle.

"Suit yourself, kiddo. Your mom and I will miss the both of you." He sniffed.

I went over him and hugged him so tight. I almost didn't want to let go. Riven came over and hugged dad too.

"I will be heading out and if you ever need anything, we are just a text or phone call away. Alright? Stay in school." He kissed both our foreheads.

We walked him to the porch of the complex. He both gave us a final kiss, said his goodbyes and drove off. We watched him as he disappeared into the road then we went back inside.

The first few minutes were quiet, neither of us talking while unpacking.

"So, did you find any friends of yours that would like to share this apartment with us?" I asked Riven, carrying my box full of plushies into my room then headed back outside.

Well somebody has to talk .

"I asked my team," He started, wiping his sweat with a towel. "But they all said they can't because of course, they have their own apartments." He chuckled.

Why did he have to ask their team when he could ask for others.

"Oh, okay then."

"I'll try asking others that I know." He finally said as he carried his own box to his room.

Okay, that's more like it. At least I wouldn't be stuck with the rascals for the following years of my life living under a roof with them.

That's totally not cool.

We both proceeded to decorate our own room. My walls were painted lime green just like I wanted, and my bed was placed in the middle with dark green duvets and pillows and let's not forget the picture frames hung above it. There's also a white cabinet near the windows.

Dad really requested for this one. I can tell.

Wobbling over to the boxes, I scanned the room to see where to set up my laptop. But unfortunately, I need to buy another set of table and chair. And so, I rummaged through the boxes to find where I stashed my clothes away. After finding it, I hung them neatly. The rest that couldn't be hung are just folded neatly too.

Next, I placed all my plushies in the little wall organizer at the left side of my bed. These plushies were the only company I had when I was little when my whole damn family was busy with their own business.I couldn't just throw them away. I couldn't sleep without them either.

After about five minutes, Riven started to play a song from Taylor Swift's 1989 album.

Such a gay.

But Taylor is so damn beautiful. I want to be like her; living her dreams, being one of the music world's icons. And here I am, such a noob, only doing covers of songs on Youtube with a few fans.

Walking in the school corridors creep and disgust me out. I mean, who would want all the eyes on you?
