Chapter 7:

Outside

"Zed, I need you to do, what i told you to earlier." Lark said as he peeked inside to find everyone in a single room surrounding a suitcase

"Are you sure? You should've really discussed this with your friends before." Zed replied

"....Just do as I said." Lark said as Zed then turns off the contacts that Wren was wearing causing his eyes to turn back to their original colour. Azalea and Ashley could not hear or see him anymore.

"What just happened?" Azalea said

"Zed? Lark?!" Ashley said as they both got no response

Inside

Everyone at the room except Wren got a message at the same time. It was a picture of Wren saying he was a squad member and was undercover.

"You...I knew there was something fishy about you.." Ed said as all of them turned their attention towards him

"Guys...lets talk..no need to resort to violence.." Wren said as he chuckled nervously. He looked at the mirror besides him as he then saw his eyes colour changed

One of the guys triggers his gun. Wren gulps and immediately starts running away with people following him.

"Everyone follow him! We need him dead or alive!"

Just before he could escape, Wren saw Lark creep up towards the suitcase.
What the hell! I see what's going on. Well I'm not letting him get that suitcase. Wren thought as he runs to the lift and closes the door. He presses the button for sixth floor.

Everyone follow after him through other lifts. As Wren reaches the floor, he sends the left to the 11th floor as he himself uses the stairs to go back to the ground floor.

Lark creeps up to grab the suitcase, but there are people still surrounding him. He fights them and knocks them out as he hears people outside yelling, "Quick! He went to the sixth floor!"

I'm sorry for using you as a distraction, my friend. But this had to be done. He thought as he reaches for the suitcase but someone grabs it before him.

"Looking for something?" Wren said as he mockingly smiles

"What are you doing here?" Lark asked with surprise

"I came to look for my friend. But it seems like he is too busy being a traitor." Wren replied

"That's not true. Just give that back to me!" Lark said as he tries to reach for the suitcase but Wren moves away

"Nope. I don't think so. You think you can get away by using me as a distraction?" Wren said

"I'm sorry, but yes I can." Lark said as someone attacks Wren from behind. In that moment Lark takes the suitcase from him and runs away.

Wren fights off those guys. But soon their numbers increase so he runs in the same direction as Lark.

Soon he catches up to him.

"Stop following me." Lark said

"Well you should've thought of that before you got these guys to follow me." Wren said

As they're running, a guy comes in front and tries to punch them.
Wren moves back and pulls Lark in front of him as shield.

"What the hell man!" Lark said as he reflexively puts the suitcase in front to defend himself

The guy ends up hitting the suitcase which makes it fall a few feet far.

"Oh I thought that suitcase was important for you." Wren said
