"Why did this have to happen!" Ashley said as she was crying. It was the next day and they had taken Amber's body back to Euphoria.
Everyone was sad and frustrated about this unexpected events that lead to the death of Amber, the one whom they all were so close to that they had never ever imagined that this would happen.
They decided to hold a funeral that day even though they wanted to wait for Azalea and Wren to come back. But since they didn't know when they would come back, King Ethan said it wouldn't be good to freeze the body for so long, that is why after the funeral they buried her next to where there was only the gravestone of Snow. She was also awarded a prize for her duty to her world. It's ironic how the world only remembers and truly cares for someone when they are gone and they don't need it anymore.
Back in Adalinda
"How is she doing?" Lark asked as he was holding a bunch of wood pieces. They had decided to camp at the same abandoned town they found.
"I don't know. She's resting right now although she woke up for a while a few hours ago and she again fainted." Aster said as she was sitting next to a sleeping Azalea
"I see. She really isn't taking this well is she?" Lark said
"Yeah. I don't think anyone is. She is too depressed. Even Wren is." Aster said
"Where is he?" Lark asked
"I don't know. He just went off somewhere alone." Aster replied
"This is not good....We need to pull ourselves together." Lark said
"I know. What about you? Did you find anything?" Aster said
"I am trying to. I can't find the crystals anywhere. I tried following the path of the river but it was also useless." Lark said
"Sorry you have to do all of this by yourself. By the way, what about the black crystal? Why not get that first?" Aster said
"We need to move together as a team if we want that crystal and well you know..." He said as he gestured toward Azalea
"She's strong. She is gonna be alright. And then we can go get that crystal." Aster said
"I'm gonna go light fire.." Lark said as he went outside and sets fire to the pieces of wood he had. Just then he sees Wren coming towards him.
"Wren...How are you doing?" Lark asked
"I'm fine. How is Lea?" He asked
"She's still how she was." Lark replied
"You know what, tomorrow let's move. We can't stay at this place forever. We need to get those crystals." Wren said
"Yeah sure." Lark said as Wren went inside. Aster then comes out saying she was feeling cold and needed to sit by the fire.
"Hey Lea..." Wren said softly as he tries to wake her up. Slowly by slowly she slightly opens her eyes. She blinks a few times as she finally opens her eyes and looks around. She tries to get up as Wren helps her sit.
"Need some water?" He asked as she nodded. He then handed her a water bottle from which she drank two or three sips. She gave the bottle back to him.
"This is not good. I shouldn't be like this. We need to get a move on...." Azalea mumbled
"I know...How are you feeling now?" He asked
"I don't know Wren....It's Amber. Amber......she's gone....she's really gone...." Azalea said as she stared off into the distance as the tears again dwelled up and started streaming down her face. Wren hugs her as he caresses the back of her hair softly. "I know..." He said as his eyes were also now full of tears
She hugs him back and breaks down, sobbing as the tears ran through her face
"But we need to be strong. We do not need to let her death go to vain, right?" Wren said as he looks at her and wipes her tears
"You're right. We need to finish the mission. Amber didn't sacrifice herself for nothing." Azalea said as she stops crying
"Yeah. We are gonna get those pieces of shit and stop them." Wren said as he gave a slight smiled
"Yeah." Azalea said as she also smiled slightly
Outside
"So..." Aster said as she looks at Lark
"What?" He asked
"You've kind of changed." She said
"What do you mean?" He asked
"You used to be more fun and I don't know how to explain although now you're more serious" Aster said
"Do you hate it that I've changed?" He asked
"Nah, both are sides of your personality. I have fun with you wherever I go." Aster said as she smiled
"What is that supposed to mean..." Lark said as suddenly his tracker beeps. He looks at it and suddenly gets up.
"What's wrong?" Aster asked
"This is bad!" Lark said as he goes inside and Aster follows him
"What happened?" Wren asked
"Those crystals. They are all at the same place. And they are moving towards the top of this mountain." Lark said
"That means..." Aster said
"They've already got all the crystals and are now planning on starting the ritual." Wren said
"Let's go. I'm sorry because of me our plan was setback a little bit, but I promise, we will stop them.." Azalea said
"Don't say sorry. It's no one's fault." Lark said
"Well come on. Let's go. We need to move quick." Wren said as they all grabbed their bags and things and started walking towards the place where the tracker was pointing. They walked all night to reach that place, only stopping to take small breaks. It was now the next morning.

As they finally reached that place, it was a thick forest part with a huge old temple type building made of stones, it was a damaged building. Like some kind of war occurred here at once. Waterfalls surrounded the area.
"Woah..." Aster said as they all looked around in awe. Her voice echoed through the empty halls.
"I don't see anyone here." Azalea said as she looked around
"We still need to be on our guard." Lark said
"We don't know where to go now. The tracker is only telling us that the crystals are here. We still don't know where they exactly are." Azalea said
"How about we split up and search for it?" Aster said
"I don't know if splitting up is a good idea." Azalea said
"Yeah. We need to stick together." Wren said
"But that's going to take time. If we split up and search for it, we will be able to cover more ground and if one of us ends up finding them, we can call the others using our devices." Aster said
"Hmm...That is true." Lark said
"Okay we will split up and search for them." Wren said
"Be careful everyone." Azalea said as they all started going their separate ways
