"Look closely at the present you are constructing. It should look like the future you are dreaming." Alice Walker

The rest of the day after the sunrise could only be described as blissful. They ate breakfast on the cliff and then walked around the yard getting to know each other. Zeus felt elated. Ophelia was a breath of fresh air and she had already started to get more comfortable with him. Although it seemed fast it was due to the soulmate bond pulling them together, it was unavoidable. Although gods felt it stronger, mortals still reacted to the natural pull.

Zeus was slightly thankful Ophelia was naive. When he asked Ophelia to do something she would simply agree. He didn't take it for granted either. Zeus knew humans tended to take things...slow. He had heard stories of his brothers and sisters mates being rebellious or wanting to take things one step at a time. As gods who had waited so long for their other half they always were ready to jump into the relationship. Mates were always paired with someone who complimented the other, made them better and raised them up. Ophelia was what Zeus needed and vice versa.

Right now Zeus was showing her around the castle. It was a big place and easy to get lost in.

"This is my private business quarters. My office, library, observatory and small meeting rooms are up here." Zeus explained as they walked up some stairs. He just showed her how to get from the main entryway to their private quarters. He held her hand, Ophelia trailed just behind him.

Ophelia was already lost and had no clue what he had shown her.

"Not many people are allowed in here, but you may come up anytime." He added on and pushed through a large heavy wood door.

"Wow." Ophelia murmured when he opened the door. It was kind of like a sitting room. There were some doors that led to the rooms he planned on showing her. The room they entered in is filled with beautiful art, sculptures and an eclectic mix of gifts and treasures Zeus acquired over his years.

"Most of my favorite personal items are in these rooms." He looked around, then moved forward. "Over here is my office." He opened a door that was directly to the side of them.

Ophelia peered in. It was nice, dark, but very him. There were a couple of chairs that sat facing the giant mahogany desk that was in the middle of the room. The desk did have a detailed lightning bolt carved into the front along with some roman numeral date. A fancy computer sat on his desk along with some files and paperwork.

"It's v-very nice." She commented. Her toes wiggled on the soft Persian rug. Ophelia's shoes were long gone somewhere in the castle.

Her eyes scanned the room, stopping on the technology that sat on the desk. She didn't comment on it but she had never used one and always wanted to. Her sisters told her about the games they would play at school.

"This is where I do most of my work. If you ever need to find me this is probably the place." His fingers still touching her. "Through this door is the meeting room, which there is another door

in the hall that leads here as well." He opened the door to the room which was simple compared to his office. The theme of dark purple and gold carried throughout in fact it seemed to be the only pops of color in the entire castle.

"There is still the library and observatory, but I think I will show you the library today and the observatory another day. It is much more interesting when the stars are out." He led her out of the office and through the sitting room to one of the unopened doors. She didn't know what an observatory was and she had never been to a library so his decision didn't affect her one way or the other.
