"Hey." I say as the bus boy sits down next to me. He looks surprised but says "Hi," back none the less.
"How are you enjoying school so far?" I ask, trying to spark a conversation.
"It's nice here, although I still miss my old friends." I replies honestly from what I could tell.
"Fair enough." I reply. We sat in an almost comfortable silence.
"Why are you talking to me?" The bus boy asks. "Not that it's a bad thing." He adds hastily. "I'm just curious."
"Though it was about time to get out a bit more, and to not dwell on my past." I answer.
"What made you want to do that now." He asks. "Again, it's not a bad thing." He smiles.
I smile back.
"A new found friend of mine told me that I should, in short, make new friends."
"So you want to be friends?"
"If you want to hang around me, then yeah."
