I didn't swing my legs under the bus bay's bench - like I normally do. I got onto the bus as quietly as I could and walked down the aisle with my head down. I notice that the bus boy wasn't here, again, today as the bus drives past his stop. I push my ear buds deeper into my ears, I wanted to disappear into the song. For the past few days I had been avoiding people and the people were avoiding me. Everything was back to normal.
'This is what happens Rosie.' I scold myself.
'You get too attached to people and then they leave you behind with a broken heart.' I continue to scold myself as I got off the bus and walked into the school grounds.
