"Hey." I call out to Hugo as his figure appears over the hill.
"Hey back." He says once he reaches the bus bay.
"So," he says. "Why do you want to know?"
"I'll tell you once you answer." I say cheekily.
"Rosie." He says flatly.
"Hugo." I mock him.
He just raised an eyebrow at me, something I had taught him.
"Tell me why you want to know." He says quietly stepping towards me.
"So, I could know if I could do this." I reply.
Then I kiss him.
"I still like you." He says hugging me.
"Good." I whisper in his ear.
We stay like this for a while. In silence.
"I might be wrong about coincidences." I finally say.
"Cause this feels like fate."
