I slowly drifted back to conscious to someone gently playing with my hair. It was warm and nice. I was laying on something soft. Slowly, I pried my eyes open.

"Hey there kiddo." Someone said softly.

I looked up to see a trait. He was wearing a blue shirt with a grey thing tied around his shoulders. A black thing twisted around his eyes.

"I'm Morality, but my name is Patton." The trait smiled, "how are you feeling? You were pretty badly hurt."

" 'M fine." I said, trying to sit up.

"Hey, take it easy kiddo." Patton gently guided me back to the soft thing, "You need to heal a bit more before you start moving around everywhere. Now, are you hungry?"

"Hungry?" I asked.

Patton blinked, "yeah, its the feeling you get when you want food."

"Whats food?"

Patton looked surprised, "just... Stay there, I'll get you something to eat."

I nodded, laying back against the soft things. A lot of what Patton said confused me. But there was something about Patton that made me feel safe.

I didn't notice that I drifted off, but when I woke up, there were two other traits staring at me. I jumped back, wincing at the sudden movement.

"Don't be scared." One said in a cold voice that reminded me of Deceit.

"Don't you remember me?" The other I recognized as Creativity said, "the one who saved you?"

I felt my breath catch in my throat. My body refused to move, but I was shaking a lot.

"Are you alright?" The Deceit-like one asked, taking a step forward.

I flinched back and he stopped.

"Oh of course, such a foolish oversight on my part." He said, gently hitting his head.

"What are you talking about?" Creativity asked.

"He's scared." The trait clarified.

Creativity sighed, "yeah no duh. Who knows what Remus did to the guy."

Wait, Creativity isn't Remus? What the hell is going on?

"Apologies for scaring you. I'm Logic." The trait introduced himself, "You may call me Logan, if you so wish."

"I-I'm..." I paused, who was I? "I'm... Anxiety."

"Well Anxiety, are you in any pain?" Logan asked.

"M-my stomach kinda hurts." I admitted, "Where's Patton?"

"He's in the kitchen" Logan told me, "Roman, would you go get him?"

"Sure thing Nerd." Creativity- Roman- chuckled, walking off.

Logan nodded, "Now you said your stomach hurt?"

I nodded, rubbing my arms.

"Have you eaten anything recently?" Logan asked.

I shook my head, "n-no. Patton said he's get me something... but I fell asleep."

"Sorry about that kiddo," Patton walked in with a bowl and Roman, "I was making you some soup."

"Thanks." I mumbled, taking the bowl.

"So when did you reform?" Roman asked.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "what's... re-form?"

The other traits glanced at each other.

"We reform when we fade away, and fading is our death," Logan explained, "we usually keep our memories when we reform."

"Oh..." I whispered, rubbing the bowl.

Roman rolled his eyes, "so he's obviously been reformed, but he doesn't have any memories. I think he's faking it. Maybe this is a setup!"

"Or he's reformed so many times his memory was completely erased." Logan countered.

"Oh yeah," Patton nodded, "Roman had memory troubles when he fought that huge Dragon-Witch two years ago and kept reforming!"

I let out a small laugh.

"What are you laughing at Jeffery Downer?!" Roman snapped, making me flinch.

"Roman!" Patton scolded, "Be nice!"

"Whatever." Roman said, "I'm going to my room."

"Kiddo..." Patton called as Roman sank down, "I'm sorry about him."

"I-its fine." I stammered.

"Its starting to get late, why don't you stay in the spare room?" Logan suggested, "and you may take your food there too if you wish."

I nodded and Patton helped me stand up. Logan lead us to the spare room, a dark purple door. He opened the door to reveal a room with a grey wood dresser and a grey wood bed with purple sheets. The walls were painted a nice grey-purple with a black carpet. Two windows were placed on either side of the bed. It pricked something in the back of my mind.

"Will you be comfortable here for tonight?" Logan asked.

"Yeah." I nodded, "thanks... for everything."

Patton awed, "it's no problem kiddo. Now you get your rest so you can get better. Me or Logan will check up on you in the morning."

I nodded. Patton and Logan left. I sat down on the bed. It felt like it was meant for me. I set the soup bowl on the nightstand by the bed. Somehow, it was still warm. I ate most of it before I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. Slowly, I fell into a peaceful sleep.
