Logan sighed as Roman and Patton jumped around, "it's just a musical. There is no need to be so excited."

"But it's Thomas's first high school musical!" Patton giggled, "even if he doesn't get the part it's still fun to try!"

Logan sighed again, "I don't understand theater."

"But you meet to be here to help Thomas remember the song." Roman grinned.

"I know." Logan crossed his arms, "I just don't understand what's so interesting about being on stage. There are much more productive things we could be doing."

"Well we're here now so you better start practicing or you won't get the part." I smirked.

"Why are you even here?" Roman rounded on me.

I shrugged, "I'm just here to see what happens."

"Guys!" Patton squealed, "We're up!"

"Yes!" Roman jumped over to the console.

I watched Thomas walk on stage as Logan sat next to me. There were so many people. So many people staring right at us.

I instinctively latched onto Logan as I felt my panic rise.

"Anxiety!" Logan yelped in surprise.

Thomas wasn't singing. Why wasn't Thomas singing!?

"Uh! Uh!" Patton stammered, "Roman do something!"

"I know! I know!" Roman panicked.

Everything started fogging for me as I tried to catch my breath. Then something cut through the fog.

"If I could begin to be
Half of what you think of me
I could do about anything
I could even learn how to love."

Roman was singing.

"When I see the way you act
Wondering when I'm coming back
I could do about anything
I could even learn how to love
Like you
Love like you
I always thought I might be bad
Now I'm sure that it's true 'cause
I think you're so good
And I'm nothing like you
Look at you go!
I just adore you I wish that
I knew
What makes you think I'm so special
If I could begin to do Something that does right by you
I would do about anything
I would even learn how to love
When I see the way you look
Shaken by how long it took
I could do about anything
I could even learn how to love like
you Love like you... Love me like you."

When the song ended everyone stared at me. I panicked and ran to my room, ignoring the shouts behind me. The door slammed behind me as I slid down to the floor of my room.

That was a nightmare.
