(MERRY BITCHMAS EVERYBODY! I HOPE YOU LIKE: )

T.W.: death, panic attack

"Hey Lo?" I asked, looking up at him from my position laying on his chest, "can we go make cookies?"

Logan smiled down at me, "sure."

I giggled and got up, pulling Logan along with me. He chuckled and our hands slipped from each others.

I ran into the commons and abruptly stopped.

Bodies.

The bodies of Roman, Virgil, Logan, and Thomas laying dead in a bloody pool.

I screamed and fell to the floor, unable to tear my eyes away from the scene. They're dead. They're all dead.

"Patton! It's not real!" A voice shouted.

"B-but-" I whimpered.

I felt someone hug me, pulling my gaze away from the bodies. That's when I realized Logan was hugging me. He wasn't dead.

I broke down in his arms. He shushed me, carding his fingers through my hair.

"You're okay Patt." Logan said, "it wasn't real."

"W-why?" I asked, "why did I see... that."

Logan paused for a moment, "because Remus is here."

"What!? Why?!" I gasped, looking up at him.

"I brought them here." Roman said, rushing into the room with Virgil close behind, "and I'll explain everything once we calm Remus down."

Calm him down? I looked over to see Remus shaking in a ball, muttering things under his breath. I could almost feel the fear and confusion rolling off him.

Roman went over to his brother slowly while Virgil hovered by me and Logan. Remus flinched when Roman tried to touch his shoulder. After a few words from Roman, Remus slowly looked up at him. He launched himself into his brothers arms and almost immediately, hardly noticeable things became normal again.

"So, why is he here?" Logan asked.

"Out home was destroyed." Deceit spoke from the couchb making me and Logan jump.

"What?" I whispered.

"Blown up." Remus chimed in, "and surprisingly not by me this time."

Deceit sighed, "it's gone for good. Nothing more than rubble."

"Oh kiddo, I'm so sorry!" I apologised.

"Like I'll believe that!" Deceit spat, "you're the reason we were out there in the first place! You threw us out! Decided it wasn't worth it to keep us around!"

"That is enough!" Logan shouted, "it was a group decision. The blame is not solely on Patton. And you two are not guiltless either."

"That was a long time ago." Deceit grit his teeth, "we've let go of our resentment towards Virgil now. But obviously you haven't changed your mind about us."

I bowed my head as they kept talking. They were right. It was wrong to push them away for so long. We were in the wrong this time.

"You can stay." I said, shattering the conversation.

"What!?" Virgil, Deceit, and Remus screeched in unison.

"On one condition!" I continued, "You two have to be on your best behavior! That means no tricks Deceit! Remus, no purposefully putting bad thoughts in Thomas's head! And both of you, respect everyone's boundaries. Especially Virgils. Understand?"

Remus threw himself into my arms,"Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!"

"No problem kiddo." I chuckled, patting his head.

"I understand your conditions." Deceit nodded, "and I will stay away from Virgil until he is ready, I promise."

I caught a glimpse of Virgil out of the corner of my eye. He looked unsure, scared and... sad.

"Are you sure about this Patt?" Logan asked.

I watched as Remus hugged Deceit tightly, making the lying trait chuckle.

"I'm sure." I smiled at him, "I think it's time we let them back in our family again, like how it used to be. Do you remember those days Logie?"

A fond smile appeared on his face, "I do."

I sighed softly. I hoped I was making the right decision.
