23- Virgil's POV

God this was the unscripted part of the video. It was so nervewracking. We all wanted to change our style, and Roman thought it was a good idea to reveal our change in video. I took a deep breath and snapped, feeling my new, purple, hoodie around me.

"I actually really dig the purple." I shrugged as I looked around at Thomas and the other sides.

"WOA-" Patton screeched.

"That design." Logan commented.

Thomas smiled, "get on his level."

Patton was cut off by a coughing fit.

"You good Patton?" Roman asked.

"I got over excited..." Patton responded.

"Well I will say that much," Logan said, "that is- a jacket."

Roman grinned, "that is... magnificent... how you've managed to become even angstier."

"Oh-kay." I sighed.

"No-no-no! If that's what you want to, uh... rock, then you rock it, sir!" Roman tried, "who needs a Hogwarts house when you have your own hog-wild style! I don't even know what I'm saying anymore."

"Yeah, it is, uh, pretty hog-wild." I said with a snort.

"Wonderful. I hope you feel a little bit more like a part of this group, Virgil." Logan nodded.

"I, uh, I do." I told him with a small smile.

"Is say we can call it a day, if we're done swapping looks." Logan said, sinking out.

Roman jumped in while sinking out, "and talking books!"

"I prefer reading on a nook." Logan got in before sinking all the way down.

"That response has me shook." Roman did the same.

"Would you look at the time on the... clook!" Patton tried, sinking out.

"Patton," Thomas called, "the video is about doing your own thing, so don't do what they're doing- honestly. Great new style Virgil."

I scoffed, "thanks, now I feel as big of a weirdo as the rest of these guys."

"Thats good," Thomas smiled, "You fit right in."

"Ah, I saw what you did there. Nice little 'bring it around full circle', that was cute." I said as I sunk out.

Immediately after I rose up in the Mindscape, I was tackle-hugged by Patton.

"VIRGE YOU LOOK SO GOOD!" Patton screamed.

I chuckled, patting his head, "thanks Patt."

"Say Virgil, "Roman walked over, "I have a surprise for you!"

I flushed, thankful for my foundation, "um, okay."

"Come on!" Roman grabbed my hand, pulling me away from Patton.

"Bye kiddos!" Patton giggled.

I managed to give him a small wave before Princy tugged me into his room. Roman went to the red door for a moment.

"So, what's the surprise?" I asked.

"This!" Roman held out his hands, showing me a rose-kneed tarantula.

I gasped, "she's beautiful! Thanks Roman!"

I carefully took the red and black spider. She crawled onto the palm of my hand and curled up.

Roman cleared his throat, his face red, "I also have one more thing..."

"Huh?" I asked, "what is it?"

"Will you go out with me?" Roman smiled awkwardly.

I was stunned. What do I say to that!? A really handsome guy that I have a crush on gets me an amazing arachnid and then askes me out?!

"Virge? Are you okay?" Roman asked, snapping his fingers in my face.

Without thinking, I leaned forward and kissed him.
