Dramtic, extra, annoying and stupid. That is exactly what he is.

Finished my assignment-- well actually I wasn't finished my assignment, but more finished with it. The bell was going to ring soon, and I'd been concentrating long enough.

I pulled my phone out to check the time, teachers didn't exactly like kids going on their phones in class, but some didn't mind if you just needed it out for a quick minute to check the time or a message from a parent. Mr.Davis was one of those teachers that typically didn't mind. So I didn't expect Mr.Davis to embarrass me when he saw it in my hands.

"Ms. Preston," He called from his desk. Ms. Preston? "Get off your phone or I take it."

"But I was just--"

"No buts." He cut me off, he sounded like a seventy-year-old man.

I shrank back into my seat, everyone had turned to me and I was now too embarrassed to argue with him, even though the lunch bell was going to ring in less than five minutes. Shoving it into my pocket I mumbled: "Okay, drama queen." I, once again, unfortunately underestimated Mr.Davis' hearing.

"Excuse me?!" He snapped.

My eyes widened, damn well knowing I fucked up. "Nothing!" I said as quick as possible.

"Yeah, nice try. You just earned yourself a detention." He said and folded his arms over his chest. "I won't take this attitude anymore, any other teacher would have you up at the office."

As mad as I was, he was not wrong.

I opened my mouth to protest but he held his hand up.

"Don't make me give you another day. We're done arguing, got it?"

I nodded.

"Great, I'll see you after school."

When he turned his back I flipped him off and Evan laughed behind me, I turned around and gave him a playful glare.

The bell rang and I was up and out of my seat before Mr. Davis has the chance to even look at me.

I shoved my English work into my locker and traded it for my Math books, I opened my water bottle and placed the rose in it before slamming the door shut as hard as I could.

"Jesus, what's wrong with you?"

I flinched and turned to see Mason leaning against the locker beside mine. "You scared me," I said and put my hand on my chest. I was usually quite difficult to scare, however that day I was quite distracted. "And just because I forgave you, doesn't mean we're friends."

He put his hands up in defence. "Hey, I was just seeing if you were good. I'm sorry." He said before leaving.

"Stop." I said, a wave of guilt washing over me. "I'm just in a bad mood and other than that I'm all good, but thanks for asking."

"Okay, feel better."

I forced a smile that quickly disappeared as soon as he turned around.

"What happened to you?" Faith asked, taking Mason's spot on the locker. "I saw all that, and I'm surprised Mason was brave enough to come up to you after that locker slam."

"You came up to me."

"Yeah, and I've never been punched in the face by you."

I raised an eyebrow at her. "What makes you think you won't be?"

Faith narrowed her eyes at me and smiled. "Because, you love me." She then proceeded jump on me, and I was slammed into the locker.

"I hate you."
