The Perfect Girl (Gumball and Bubblegum fanfiction)

Chapter 13

The only thing visible was where the portal used to be, there was only glitter fluttering down to the floor.
"What happened?" Gumball spoke.
"It's gone, both Ooo and Aaa, are gone." Marshal slowly knelt down and scooped up the glitter, then he turned toward Gumball." And it's all your fault."

"My fault?" Gumball said appalled," you were the one that showed me the portal in the first place."

"But I wasn't the one that fell in love!" Marshal shoved him.

"Then why did I see Marceline coming through the portal to get me?" Gumball shoved him back.

"It was one time, it's not like we got married!" Marshal shoved Gumball to the floor." This is your fault!" He threw handfuls of glitter at Gumball. "Now use that stupid brain of yours and fix this."

Marshal scooped up glitter into his hands and walked a ways from Gumball, he sat down and cried, Gumball quietly doing the same. As a tear fell into the pile of glitter it swirled into the air and formed what looked like the mirror. More tears fell from his eyes until all the glitter was formed into what looked like the mirror.

"Gumball!" Marshal turned to see Gumball with the same glittery form in front of him. Marshal gently pushed his mirror toward Gumball's and they joined them together. It was still just glitter.

"I'm sorry Marshal, I was trying so hard to find the perfect girl that I forgot about everyone else." Gumball said.

"I'm sorry I said this was all your fault, I guess it was some what my fault." They laughed and gave each other a bro-hug. Then the glitter melted and solidified into a mirror. "Does this mean it worked?" Marshal asked.

"I don't know?" Gumball touched the mirror that felt like water under his fingertips. He put his hand through," I feel warmth." Gumball stepped through grabbed Marshal by the collar and pulling him through. They were under water, with no sense of direction. Gumball gave Marshal a serious look and they nodded t each other. Marshal grabbed Gumball and floated up and up and up, until finally they could see the surface and they broke through gasping violently for air.

"So are we back where are we?" Marshal asked.

"I think so, can you fly us to land?" Gumball said grabbing onto Marshal tighter as the floated up into the air and looked around for land. Finally they found it miles away, and they headed for it as fast as they could. Finally they could see bubbles floating up into the air from the Candy Kingdom. They were home.

They got to land and crashed onto the beach." We made it!" They said back and forth to each other hugging each other warmly.

"Gumball, Marshal, where have you guys been!" A young girls voice yelled at them.

"Fionna!" They cheered and ran at her covering her in water and sand.

"I'm happy to see you guys too." She said confused.
