The Perfect Girl (Gumball and Bubblegum fanfiction)

Chapter 2

*knock, knock, knock*

"Your majesty." Peppermint maid poked her head in.

"What is it?" Gumball moaned.

"Someone is here to see you."

"Who is it can't they come back later?" He groaned.

"It's Marshal Lee, the vampire King." She said timidly. He snapped his head up.

"What?" Marshal was actually using the door like a normal person." Be down soon." She left his room and he threw a pink hoodie on over the t-shirt Marshal gave him, pulled on some jeans, and pink converse. He ran downstairs to see Marshal waiting for him with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey Gumball." He grinned.

"What're you doing here, using the front door?" He questioned.

"Eh, I like to shake things up sometimes, so what'd you say we go on an adventure, and go find these dream girls of ours!" He smirked.

"Marshal they are dream girls we aren't gonna find them." Gumball slumped his shoulders.

"But we can," He inched really close to Gumball," I know about this cave that Ice Queen visits, with a portal in it, and she'll stay in there for hours sometimes days."

"Fine we can check it out but if it takes us to some weird, and I mean weird place that only the ice queen finds pleasing we are leaving." Gumball scolded.

They exited the castle, and Marshal picked up Gumball taking him to the cave. They went deep inside the cave, seeing what looked a mirror.

"Look." Marshal pointed up to some words etched around the mirror.

"Hold your breath, make a wish, but do not blink, it will be gone in a flash. What does that mean?" Marshal said.

"Exactly what it says." Gumball said.

"Sorry. Well are you ready?" Marshal sighed.

"Yeah, make a wish." Gumball said. And thinking the same thing they walked through the mirror.

"What the heck it just took us to the same place." Marshal yelled.

"Shh, get down." Gumball pulled Marshal behind a bush as a boy with a white eared hat, blue shirt, dark blue shorts, and a green back pack walked by.

"Jake, Jake?" The boy yelled out.

"I'm over here bro." Someone said.

"Where?" The boy continued walking out of sight into the forest.

"Who was that?" Marshal whispered popping out of the bushes.

"I don't know I've never seen him before." Gumball said trying to get another look at him.

"That means it worked! Do you know who that was? That was Fionna's perfect other half!" Marshall exclaimed.

"Shh, shh, I don't want anyone to see us." Gumball hissed.

"Don't be such a Gumwad we have to go find our girls." Marshal pushed him.

"Ugh, fine fine, where should we look first?" Gumball pushed him back.

"For my girl, if this place is just like Ooo I know where she is." Marshal smiled.

"Where?" Gumball put his hands on his hips.

"With your girl." He smiled bashfully.

"And where would that be though?" Gumball threw his hands up in the air.

"Well think about it, you hardly ever leave your castle. Let's look there first." He picked up Gumball and they flew to the balcony of the castle as fast as they could.

Moments later they were on the balcony peeking into Gumball's perfect girls room. It looked just like his. There sitting on the bed was a girl with very long black hair, a gray cardigan, purple shirt underneath, black skinny jeans, and red boots.

Marshal's eyes widened, and his heart pounded as he looked upon his queen." That's her." He breathed. Moments later a girl with curled pink hair and bangs swooped across her forehead tip toed in, she wore a very flattering pink dress. Gumball gulped.

"Marceline what're you doing in my room, you can't use the door like a normal person?!" The pink haired girl yelled.

"Oh my gosh she is perfect for you." Marshal said looking at Gumball.

"Shut up." He elbowed him.

"Oh I'm so sorry Bonnibel." Marceline said sarcastically. Then Gumball fainted falling in view of the girls.

"Gumball you idiot!" Marshal yelled and the girls looked at him shocked.

"Guards!" Bonnibel yelled.

"No no no, please don't, just let us explain." Marshal begged struggling to pick up Gumball's limp body.

"Then explain." Bonnibel said angrily.

"Mind if I put him somewhere more comfortable?" Marshal said insecurely.

"Just put him on the bed." Marceline said, her voice sounding like liquid gold.

"Ummm, ok, me and Gumball, well first of all I'm Marshal Lee, the Vampire King, and he is Prince Gumball, of the Candy Kingdom." Marshal said.

"No that's impossible," Bonnibel intrupted," because she is Marceline the Vampire QUEEN, and I'm Princess Bubblegum of the CANDY KINGDOM, how could you two be the same thing?"

"We came from another dimension, obviously a gender twisted dimension." Marshal shrugged.

Marceline floated over to Marshal and looked at him very skeptically."Are you really my perfect other?" She asked in disbelief.

"I believe I am." He said to her. Gumball woke up looking around wide eyed with Bubblegum sitting next to him.

"Don't worry Marshal told us everything."

"And your okay with it?" Gumball asked, she nodded and he kissed her. Her eyes were wide then she relaxed into the kiss and kissed him back. Marceline and Marshal looked at them in shock," and you said I move too fast." They both said at once.

"Screw it." Marshal said taking Marceline into his arms and kissing her, she kissed him back wrapping her arms around him too.

The day became dark, and they said their goodbyes. Gumball and Marshal went home floating on a cloud, a day filled with heartfelt kisses, hand holding, hugs, cuddles, a very relaxed picnic in the forest. They went back home through the mirror, and laid in their beds with big grins on their faces excited about tomorrow.

So I'm pretty horrible at filling in extra parts, but I might fix it later and put in all the fillers. But I hope you guys are liking it so far, I will try and post more as soon as possible. Hopefully this story works out as good as the last one. :) Thank you!
