Months had passed since the incident, and the portal was gone. Marshal was sitting at home playing his bass, then sadly dropped the bass on to his bed, it bounced and flipped over, revealing writing on the back.

After these few months that we have spent together, I have realized how much I REALLY LOVE YOU! I can't believe after a thousand years I finally found the one right for me, and the laws of nature won't allow us to be together. I hope one day we can figure out a way to be together again.

Marshal wiped a tear from his eye," I promise I will find a way to see you again." He laid on his bed and looked over imagining Marceline laying next to him smiling at him, and whispering her love to him.
Yeah this is how I decided to end the story I was a little lost with the story and just kind of made it up as I went along. But I hope you liked it, I may or may not write more after this we'll see.
