Gumball was swallowed up in another experiment. He was mixing chemicals in viles and dropped a few drops into a big tub. He repeated this for hours until the tub glowed a purple pink colour, he then dropped a lock of gum from his hair into the tub and it started overflowing spilling onto the floor.
"It's working, it's alive." He smiled as a person shaped figure rose from the tub," IT'S ALIVE!" He exclaimed.
The thing then sank back into the tub and everything was silent.
"What, no what happened, no, no, no!" He growled and started throwing things and threw the tub out the window." When will I find the perfect princess?" He sighed, sitting at his desk, and dropped his head into his folded arms.
Later on that day Gumball was sitting at his throne listening to the problems of the tenth Candy Citizen today. He just nodded and smiled. His day went on, he dealt with a bunch of royal junk, and at the end of the day he tiredly walked into his room. He fell on his bed, face down.
"Ugh, my life sucks." He cried. He got up after a few minutes and walked into his bathroom. He started the bath, stripped out of his clothes and looked at himself in the mirror.
"You will never find her." He said very disgusted with himself. He soaked in the bath for a few hours listening to the soft music playing from his radio.
He got out of the tub, wrapped a towel around himself, and walked into his room. He opened his closet, grabbed his pajama's then a pair of underwear out of his dresser. He dropped his towel.
"Whoa, I didn't know we were that close." Gumball heard from behind him, he turned around covering himself to see Marshal Lee sitting on his bed.
"MARSHAL!" He covered his mouth then whispered not wanting anyone to hear him, "Marshal Lee what're you doing here?!" He quietly screamed at him.
"I need someone to talk to, and you're kind of my only friend." He said shyly. Gumball pulled on his clothes and sat on the bed next to Marshal.
"What is it?" He said sitting Indian style on the bed.
"I know I'm immortal and all, and I could have any girl I want but, I don't feel like I'm ever gonna find, the RIGHT girl." He confessed bashfully.
"It's kind of funny that you said that," Gumball lightly chuckled, "because I'm in the same boat." He smiled.
"No, THEE Prince Gumball can't find his true love?" Marshal grinned." I thought every prince had a fairy tale ending." He said sarcastically.
"No afraid not for this prince." He blushed.
"Ugh, I just don't get why it's so hard!" Marshal fell back on the bed.
"Well when you hook up with them on the first date, that has a lot to do with it." Gumball chuckled.
"Ok well fine that's one problem.. But my other problem is there is no one like me. I mean Fionna is too young and childish, and everyone else is just looking for a fairy tale." Marshal said a little defeated.
"Tell me about it, I just wish there was this whole other place with people in it that were exactly perfect for us." Gumball laid next to Marshal.
"Wouldn't that be awesome?" Marshal said with a small grin on his mouth," can you imagine a girl like me?"
"What about a girl like me?" Gumball exclaimed in excitement.
"Oh but mine would be hardcore with a soft side, but also an edgy sassy side, with an awesome style, and an amazing taste in music, and HOT." Marshal mused.
"But MINE, would absolutely love the colour pink, like me of course, be a great ruler like me, and be really smart and sciency like me!" Gumball day dreamed.
"Wouldn't that be something?" They both sighed in love with these girls they had never met or seen before in their life.
