Chapter 9

Everything was back to normal and happy, and Ice King was back in Ooo.

"What time is it?" Gumball asked.

"5 in the morning." Marshal said.

"I have to go, my wedding is in 6 hours." Gumball started heading back to the cave that had the portal to Ooo.

"What're you doing, you're gonna go back after you just saw what would happen if you weren't here for your Kingdom." Marshal grabbed Gumball's arm.

"I finally found the perfect girl, I can't lose her Marshal." Gumball pried Marshal's hand off of his arm.

"What happened to the guy that said his people come before anything else?"

"I know, but this is different." Gumball turned away.

"She isn't gonna remember you, you'll have to start over Gumwad." Marshal said.

"Then I'll start over, I love her!" Gumball was starting to get irritated.

"And leave all your friends behind, and never see them again, like me?" Marshal was following Gumball.

"Marshal, we're not even friends, we can't stand each other!" Gumball turned and shoved Marshal. Marshal quickly got his balance and jumped at Gumball tackling him to the ground.

"You're my only friend, but I guess that doesn't matter to you anymore!" Marshal punched Gumball in the face repeatedly until he realized Gumball couldn't fight back, or wouldn't, he wasn't sure which one. He got off of him, and quickly turned away, not showing Gumball the pain on his face.

"Marshal." Gumball sat up wiping the blood from his nose on his sleeve, wait Marshal's sweater, whatever. Gumball got to his feet and wrapped his arms around himself as he continued to the cave." I'll make Bubblegum remember me." He mumbled to himself as he walked through the portal, he exitted the cave and looked up at the sky that was an ominous purple colour. He brushed it off and continued toward the Candy Kingdom.
