Patrick is at an interview with Jackie.

Patrick's POV

I was sitting there answering all those typical questions about my recent work, Dempsey challenge, racing but also about my wife which kind of surprised me but whatever, I don't care about her anymore. The interview continued but finally, Jackie said that it was time for the last question from the audience. God, I felt so tired.

"So... yeah, the young lady with the red t-shirt in the first row, please, ask your question," Jackie said and I looked at the nicely looking lady. She stared at me, piercing me with her bright eyes. It felt strange but somehow she made me remember that pair of bright eyes. I took a deep breath waiting for her question.

"Do you still love her?" she asked. I choked a little as I got surprised by her question. What the hell?  Everyone in the room was staring at me. I could feel their eyes on me. I heard her voice echoing all over my head. I calmed down because she was asking about my wife, yeah, that's it... Fuck... It hit me. It felt like the time has stopped. I didn't know what to do. Just calm down, Dempsey, don't freak out. I took a deep breath and thought about all the lost years I could've been with her.

"Well that's not approp..." Jackie tried to get out of this uncomfortable situation but I stopped her.

"Yes... Yes, I do." I said firmly not knowing how and not realizing the impact of my words. Who cares anyway? The young lady's eyes lit up at my answer and she smiled a little.

There was silence as hell, it was unbearable. Jackie finished the interview and I litterally ran away. I heard her talking to me but I just needed to escape. I ran away... I ran away from the building, from the place, from the interview but I couldn't run away from the fact that I still do love her even after all those years. On one side, I felt really happy but on the other side, I was afraid. I was afraid if I hadn't ruined anything.

I got to my car and sat down on the driver's seat. I was staring through the window listening to my phone beeping and ringing, notifications from instagram and twitter as my fans saw the interview. However, I felt relieve. I didn't know what will happen next but I felt free. And then I thought... has she seen it? Will she contact me or will she at least do something? She can play the game they used to on instagram with posting pictures with the same topic or when she wore the ring I gave her from my wife... I am pretty sure she still has feelings for me.

My mobile brought me back to reality when it started to ring. I looked at the caller ID.

"Fuck... it was quick," I said as I picked up the phone.

"Yes?" I asked my wife but I already knew what would come.

"I want a divorce," she said surprisingly calmly.

"Yeah... me too."
