The truth was in front of me
So I stabbed my eyes
I made myself blind
To drive away the guilt
I heard the truth
So I chopped of my ears
I made myself deaf
To drive away the guilt
I tasted the truth
So I cut off my tongue
I made myself dumb
To drive away the guilt
I smelt the truth
So I removed my nose
making myself unsensory
to drive away the guilt
He laughed a mocking laugh
as he watched my foolishness
so as to torture me
he gave me a present, guilt
The truth was in my heart
So I stabbed my heart
getting rid of the guilt
I smiled a bitter smile knowing
I had won
but in truth
He had already won

hey people of the universe .I wanted to share this piece with you cause it is very important to me.For the past few days (as it happens in most holidays)I go under identity crisis. Some things I have done have made me guilty and am doing my best to ignore the guilt.
