"Megumi?" I stayed out loud, not turning my back, still busy cleaning the table. "What..? Dude, it's me soma. Megumi? Do I really sound like her?" "oh-! Uh... Sorry, uhm soma, I guess I'm just too busy- I mean! Focus, focus. Ack!" In frustration, I kept cleaning, but more aggressively. I feel like a clown, how could I've made this stupid mistake? he sounds nothing like a female at all, let alone Megumi's!
"hey stop. I told you that the staff would clean this mess, ok?" I couldn't stop scrubbing until soma put his hands on mine to stop the scrubbing. Thinking back on the class... I almost failed because of my shitty partner. I could have failed my grandpa and my grandpa, all because of this one person who wanted to lose! Not only that but he couldn't even cook, he wasn't even paying attention to what I've been saying. All of this trouble simply because I had someone who couldn't cook, who even admitted him here?! Should I even tell Sōma what I'm thinking right now? Why I'm upset at the moment? No, don't even bother. He's just a peer, nothing else he's not my friend. "sorry" I began to walk away leaving soma to the almost cleaned table. Walking outside the building with my fist clinched, I heard someone call to me "Y/n? Are you ok..? You don't seem to be doing well..." refusing to turn around, I do knew it was megumi for sure this time. Instead of awnsering her concern, I kept on walking before I had my arm grabbed by two small hands "Y/n... to Please, tell me what's wrong, I m-might not know what your going through... But I wanna help the best I can..!" does she really want to help me..? Why can't she just leave me alone "I'm just a little upset ok? Nothing to worry about now please let me go" I looked straight into her (describe eyes) eyes. My eyes were dull and tried to pull my arm away. "No! I won't just leave you feeling like this..! Please, just let me help you Y/n your not alone..." I could fell my eyes starting to water up relatively quickly, so before any tears could fall I attempted to clear them up. "fine but afterwards you have to let me go, deal?" My voice sounded weak "Sure..." I sighed deeply, for the first time I didn't know what to say or how to began talking "I guess... the scary thought of failing and disappointing grandpa and grandma, they've done so much for me. All I wish I can do is repay them back with their dream for me. Back in the assignment... I almost failed because of someone who didn't know how to cook, was somehow admitted and I wouldn't be surprised if they had help with a relative or not. I... still am angry at the fact one person could have gotten me kicked out, and the possibility of failing is there... and it scares me because what if I do fail? What then? How will I apologize to my grandpa, who has been training me all these years?! Hey grandpa I'm sorry but I failed and now your dreams for me will never be achieved?!" Somewhere along the lines I didn't notice that I had started to tear up, and my voice was sounding weaker and weaker... suddenly Megumi hugged my back, putting her arms around my stomach and hugged me, it... felt nice... comforting actually, I... like this feeling... "Y/n... that was just one assignment, you passed. Don't think about the what if's, your still here and that's all that matters. I'm sure your grandpa will still love you even if you do ever get removed from here... your a good kid y/n... I don't know you that much but, the way you helped me out in the ceremony. You've inspired me to do my best, but what I also learned in that time, is that even if you don't end up winning... your friends and family will still support you because you've gotten so far... I've gotten so far that I can't believe it, but... here I am." I suppose she's right... I can't predict the future, and maybe I will be ending up passing. And even if I don't... then maybe grandpa would still be happy that I've gotten this far. "Thank you... Megumi..." the only words I could muster up to say, I was left speechless. I didn't know what I was thinking putting my head down I should be looking up and be more confident in myself...! Megumi quietly giggled "It's ok Y/n, it's normal to be like this... just don't let it get to your head ok?" I nodded as I just wanted to be left in my thoughts for now "Ok-! Now we should fine the dorms because I have nowhere else to stay-" "Me- either actually..."
Minuets trying to find the dorms passed by and there was nothing but green grass, and trees Hours go by and we've found only buildings that were either sports or activities "I guess this place is the most prestigious culinary school since they have all this land and buildings here" I wanna is whispered to myself but jumped as Megumi was listening "Yeah no kidding... all this walking has gotten me tired..." "Already? It's just been like an hour or two, it's not that bad" "Not that bad?! An hour?! I can't do this anymore my legs are gonna give up~" "Be thankful you didn't have to stand around in a huge line for an hour just to get into a building, when it's around 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit" "wait did you stand around in that heat?" "nah, but its a terrible thought though" " yeah your right... What would be worth standing around in the heat for two hours?" "maybe something you desire? Like meeting your favorite celebrity, or learning how to do a passion with an expert" "I can actually see myself doing that, the more I think about it..." megumi went into deep thinking.
She turned into a chibi, waiting around a long line wanting to meet the person who inspires her. Once she got inside the building she saw Y/n sitting in a throne awaiting her presence "eh? Y/n? You're the one who inspires me?" Withut a response Y/n got up from his cozy throne and walked down the stairs. The area was so quite, all you could hear was the footsteps. Once Y/n got down from the stairs he went in front of megumi and went a little to close "w-woah h-hey uh don't you think that your like getting a little closer than you have to Y-Y/n?" her face was becoming flustered as she was seeing Y/n's face and thought of how handsome he looked, and those sparkles with those gazes. "are you listening to me? Pay attention, megumi..!" instead of getting closer or doing anything romantic, chibi Y/n just poked her restlessly "e-eh?"
Megumi started shaking her head as her eyes were closed. "megumi!" I started to shake her rapidly to get her off of dream world "huh... Mmm, ugh u-uh..? Oh! Y-Y/n!" her cheeks started to turn a shade of red. "we are here, we're already at the dormitory" "oh.. Really? This looks very spooky.." "yeah well... We don't really have a choice" I grabbed her arm and started walking inside "a-ah! H-hey Y/n stop! I don't wanna go in the scary house! Are you listening to me?!"
