"Wybie we need to hide!" We ran into my bedroom and hid under the bed. The bed was small so I had to lie on top of Wybie. I could feel his heart beating and the warmth of our bodies touching. There was a smashing noise as the Beldam broke her door. "CORALINE! IS THAT YOU?" She screamed. I could hear her metallic spider legs hitting the ground as she made her way around the house. I looked into Wybie's eyes and whispered "I'm sorry if we don't make it out of here alive" a tear slid down my cheek as I said it. Wybie kissed me and whispered "I don't care if I die. I'm just glad i got to be with such a wonderful person" I kissed him. "Coraline..." the Beldam said in a teasing voice. "Where are you my sweetie?" She came into the room and Wybie and I held our breath. She walked all over the room and didn't think to look under the bed. I could just see her legs scrap along the ground as she left the room. She turned around and looked in the room again. She had sewn a new button in the place of the one I had cut off. This was the third time she had had to sew new buttons on. She deserves to die. She finally went away and we heard her go outside. We rushed out of the room and down the stairs. We ran to the door and opened it. Wybie went first I was about to go when I saw the key hanging nest to the picture of the blue boy. I grabbed it and went into the door. I was about to fully close it when I heard the beldam talking to herself. She said "maybe it's time for a new doll. Who should it be. There isn't any kids around. DAMMIT!" She screamed. "Wait. Where's the key?" She ran over to the wall and ran her hand over when the key had been. She let out a horrific scream and ran towards the door. I crawled as fast as I could and climbed back into my house. I slammed the door shut and locked it. "Well I'm definitely not hungry anymore" Wybie said. It had been his first time seeing the Beldam. He pulled me into a tight hug and we stayed hugging for awhile. I didn't want this to end. Ever.
