I slashed the knife across the beldams face and she screamed in pain. "YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT!" She yelled at me. I had made one of her buttons fall off. I ran back into the house. I heard her follow me. I ran into 'my' room. I locked the door and hid. She smashed the door down and came in. I held my breath as she whispered "Coraline...Coraline" she left the room and I let go of my breath. I had been here longer then I intended to be but I couldn't leave until she was dead. I silently went downstairs and saw the Beldam sitting in the kitchen. I snuck over to the door and opened it. The black cat appeared next to me and whispered "Coraline, you shouldn't be here. It's still dangerous"
"I have to kill her. I have to end it now!"
"What would Wybie say?"
"He would be furious at me for going back in"
"Coraline you've taken out one of her eyes, isn't that enough?" Maybe he was right. "Whatever. If she tries anything ever again, I'm coming back" I followed the cat back inside the portal back home. I crawled into my living room and boarded the door up again. I crawled into bed and fell asleep.
I woke up late. It was 10:30am. I groaned and got out of bed. I went downstairs and had breakfast. I went outside and into the gardens. The doll was still buried. "Stupid doll. Nothing without your arms, legs and eyes" I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around me. "Hey Jonesy" I giggled. "Good morning why-were-you-born" he kissed my forehead and said "I think I fall in love with you more everyday"
