I crawled out of the door. No one was in the room but I knew that she couldn't be far. I heard someone humming and I smelt food. I walked around the corner and saw the beldam in her true form. The metallic, spider form. She turned and looked at me and smiled her cruel smile. "Coraline! My daughter! You're back!" Her leathery, long snake tongue flicked out of her mouth. She said "dinners ready!" So I followed her to the dining room. We sat down on opposite ends of the table and she said "father wont be able to join us tonight" she flashed a twisted smile. The memories of how my other father had been killed flooded in. "Now Coraline, we have something to discuss. It's about the doll"
"What about it?"
"You cut its button eyes off and cuts its arms and legs off. All it wanted was to come home!" She seemed enraged that the doll had been ruined by me. "I don't appreciate being watched through dolls eyes!" She rolled her eyes. She stood up and stood behind my chair. She put her hand on my shoulder and started whispering in my ear "I love you my dearest Coraline" i stood up and said "I'm going out to the garden!" I walked out the door and made my way to the garden. I refused to look up at the roof of the house knowing that the other Wybie was up there, dead. A tear formed in my eye. He had helped me and payed the price. I felt a presence and I turned around to see the beldam. She corned me and whispered "Coraline stay here with me" She tried to grab my hand but I took advantage of the situation and pulled my knife out.
