Seongmin stirred. Her head hurt horribly, a throbbing knot on both the front and the back where she'd hit it. Her split lip was throbbing as well, and she felt a horrible ache all over her body. She opened her eyes to a bright light shining directly into her eyes, and she squinted, trying to see where she was.

The events of earlier suddenly came back in a rush, and despite the light, Seongmin's eyes went wide. She tried to hurriedly sit up, only to discover her ankles and wrists bound to the table she was laying on. Her mouth was still gagged, preventing her from making a sound save for muffled groans. She noticed blood on Jin's hoodie that she was still wearing, and in a panic wondered how bad her injuries really were.

She suddenly remembered Hoseok, crumpled over with blood pouring down his face. The crack she'd heard before he was sent flying made her wince, he most likely had a broken rib from Chihun's attack. (A/N: No he was not shot don't panic) She also remembered Namjoon's panicked gaze as he looked at his injured friend. They would probably blame her for what had happened, and in a way she hoped they did, because she knew it was her fault. She hated herself for making that stupid decision, and swore to herself that if she survived this she would never break a rule again.

She didn't know how long she lay there, lost in thought with tears threatening to pool in her eyes before the sound of footsteps made her snap back to reality. A familiar low voice made her eyes widen in panic as a familiar silver-haired man stepped into the room.

"Ah, awake I see," he cooed, looking at her like a hunter eyeing a trapped animal. "Good, good. Now, I can ask you some questions."

Seongmin inhaled sharply as the gag was removed, allowing her to properly breathe for the first time in what had clearly been a while. Her mouth was in pain from having been in that awkward position for so long, indicating that she'd probably been out an hour at the very least.  She strained on the table, testing the bonds holding her back, but to no avail. She was stuck.

She was able to turn her head, however, and when she caught sight of the smirking Song, she made a split second decision not to let him see her fear, and instead turned an irritated glare on him.

"Resistant today, are we?" Song only smirked harder at the low growl she let out before replying.

   "What do you want, Song?"

The silver haired man put up his hands in a remarkably ineffective gesture of innocence. "Oh, I don't want anything with you. You were hard enough to find in the first place, I wouldn't have put in the effort were it up to me. It's the guy I'm working for that should be your concern. If it weren't for him, I'd let you go right now and you'd never have to see me again. Unfortunately for the both of us, he's determined that you're important to his... how do I phrase this? His plan."

Seongmin rolled her eyes. "So what you're saying is you're too attached to this guy to say no to a job you don't want anything to do with."

Song's eyes hardened. "You don't know a thing about me. Or the business I'm in for that matter. You're just a stupid, naive-"

"If you want me to understand, do explain," she shot back.

He scoffed. "I don't have the time to explain a thing like our honor code to a petty little brat like you. I'm just about done with you even being here."

"Then stop," she said. "I don't want to be here any more than you want me here, so just let me go and we'll never have to see each other again. It's like you said."

Seongmin's heart was pounding in fear, but she kept it off her face. She knew she was in no position to make a bargain with this guy, but she was willing to do just about anything to get away. Her heart skipped a beat as Song almost seemed to consider it for a moment, but then he burst out laughing, and her hopes slipped away.
