Another one for my amazing readers... Can I just say how much I appreciate y'all
Anyway, let's get to it

Camilla got into her room and locked it, dropping her bags on the floor. She took her clothes off mindlessly and got into the shower, not minding how cold the water felt. Not even that could relax her. She let it run down her body as she recalled all the events that took place that day, one by one. So clear, as if she was reliving each and every one of them.

She decided to take her mind off it, turned off the shower, picked up her towel by the mirror and began drying her hair. She watched her reflection as she did it, staring right into her own eyes. Where was the glow? The cheerful rebel. She stared for so long it seemed as if she was looking at someone else. Somebody new. Little did she know, she actually was.

She later got dressed in her soft, cotton pyjamas and got into bed. However, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't sleep. She stared at the ceiling for a while, but it seemed like, her brain wouldn't let her rest. Whenever it got idle, the memories would come back. She got out of bed and grabbed her phone from the back pocket of the jeans she was wearing. It had a slight crack at the bottom right corner of it's screen. The second she saw that, a flash of how she was shoved to the tree trunk went through her mind. It must have been how the phone got the crack.

She shook her head vigorously for a moment then settled back on her bed. She scrolled through Instagram for a while, trying to distract herself but as time went by, all she was doing was scrolling, and not even seeing what she was looking at. Her eyes were hardly on the screen. She felt blank. Her mind still racing. And at that moment, she knew what she needed.

She walked to the little pile of stuff where she had dropped everything and took off her clothes on arrival, then started going through them desperately, looking for a small box. She searched in her bags, emptying them one by one and scratching through the items on the floor, it wasn't there.

"Where is it, where is it?" She asked herself, as if demanding. Her hands had begun to shake. She was now on her knees, throwing things around. Finally, she found it in one of her pockets and she couldn't wait to take them. She didn't even need water. She just swallowed the dose. However, she felt as if it was not enough. So she swallowed another... And another. Right then she started feeling dizzy, so with difficulty, she got to her feet, and stumbled to her bed, the position she fell asleep with all the way till morning.

"Hunny, time to get up!" Ava called out from outside her room accompanied with a knock on her door.

No reply.

"Hellooo... Breakfast's ready. And guess what? It's your favorite!" She said excitedly. She knew her daughter had had a hard time, so she tried to find a way to cheer her up. "There's bacon, and today, I'll let you have as much as you want..." Still, no reply.

"Cammy?" She knew how excited her daughter was about bacon. She loved bacon so much. She should have reacted by now. It got her worried.

Camilla was never the silent type. Happy or mad, she was loud. She spoke up even when sad! This did not seem like her.

"Camilla, open the door sweetie." She began Knocking continuously.

Silence.

"I said open this door, right now!" She panicked. "Camilla!" She grew desperate. "Camilla!" She knocked even harder. She tried turning the knob multiple times but the door wouldn't open. She ran to her room and grabbed the spare keys to every door in the house from her closet drawer and ran back.

She tried key after key on Camilla's door, trying to figure out which one hers was. They were all labeled but all the tension wouldn't let her think of that and after what seemed like forever, the door finally opened. She paced to her bed, still calling her name. She sat by her, shaking her gently to wake up. She wouldn't. So she got water from the sink in her bathroom and sprinkled it on her. She opened her eyes.

"Oh thank God! You scared me! Are you alright?"

"Yeah, mom. I'm fine" She got out of bed, feeling a bit weak but she wouldn't let it show.

"But you couldn't wake up, I thought..." she tried getting close to her but Camilla moved away then headed to the bathroom.

"I said I'm okay, alright? So just leave me alone." She didn't sound rude, just vulnerable. She closed her bathroom door and let water fill her bathtub as she brushed her teeth.

Meanwhile, her mother was trying to clean up the mess in her room. Her heart sank when she ran into the box. It all made sense to her now. She stopped what she was doing and just sat on Camilla's bed. Her daughter had overdosed. At that point, she couldn't tell what scared her more. The fact that her daughter nearly killed herself, or the fact that her daughter had gone through something that made her want to end her own life. She was lost in thought, until the unlocking of the bathroom door snapped her back to the present. She quickly hid the box, and excused herself. She was not ready to face the matter yet.

Camilla walked to her closet, took out a black pair of rugged jeans, her black crop top and a black pair of leather ankle boots. She tried her hair to a high ponytail and did her make-up all dark. Smoky eyes, dark brows and purple lipstick. She put on diamond earrings on, and a long silver necklace with a hook pendant. She wore a black leather strap on her right wrist and three black beaded bracelets on the other. She finished the look with her black leather jacket, picked up her phone and headed out, leaving her room messy as always.
