Hey guys... Since we just got to 600, and I've just finished the previous one, here's another 5CU! I'll try to be on time this round but at least my debt is paid. Here we go.
"You did what!" X grabbed Mike by the collar and pushed him to the tree trunk.
"I'm sorry, I... I..." Mike tried to explain, but what could he possibly say to get him to spare him?
"I, will deal with you later." He released him in spite. "Right now, we have something to do." He turned to all the rest. "Everyone, gear up!" He selected three to come with him to the first mission.
With his most dangerous brother holding Camilla, he needed all the help he could get. And seeing as he sent his smartest brother to jail, he had to get him back. He knew it wouldn't be easy. Especially when they thought Liam was him. And they probably didn't listen to him when he denied it, thinking he was making up some phoney story just so they could go easy on him.
Of course, it wasn't X's first time in the building. He knew exactly where he would be held. He had broken criminals out of jail before. It was part of his job. But never since 'he' was arrested. Which meant that the cops would be having their guard down, because they think they have their culprit in.
This should be easy, he thought. He knew the guards' entire routine. When they took breaks, when they shifted, their meal times... Pretty much everything. What was challenging was, there was constantly a guard outside Liam's door. He couldn't believe he went through all the trouble of finding the cell he was in, just to find this. It made his work more difficult. And that's where the three came in.
His crew members started making trouble outside, claiming they want their leader back. It definitely got the cops attention, since they were also wanted criminals. The guard on Liam's door was also called for back-up, sending another officer to stand on guard, since he did better at field work. On cue, the three began riding away around the streets, trying to get as many cops as possible away from the station faster than the second shift arrived.
This was the gap he needed. No complications. Liam was surprised to see him. Almost too surprised to respond.
"Come on, let's get out of here!" He grabbed his arm and began running out as the alarm went off. They dodged most of the cops, but had to fight some off.
It was by shear luck that they got to X's bike before the cops got to them. He parked it a few blocks away so he could sneak in without raising suspicion. The CCTV would have sold his bike out. They had seen it severally, and it was always accompanied by trouble. Their security would have gotten tighter.
Normally, his missions went smoothly. No alarms, no pursuit. But this, he had no time to plan a perfect escape.
"Did you really have to park your bike so far?" Liam asked, panting.
"Shut up, lazy." He said. They sped across streets, cops from all directions, sometimes intersecting paths with his crew mates. It was pretty thrilling for Liam, but X was stressed out of his mind. He just wanted all this to be over.
And in an hour, it was. He switched bikes with an ordinary one, took off his hood and gave his brother a sweat suit. Then rode to his base as his crew mates managed to lure them away. He only saw that in movies, but it worked like a charm.
"I have a feeling guilt was not your motivation to break me out?" He began, getting off the bike.
"Lycah has Camilla." X took his helmet off.
"And?"
"You're helping me get her back." Liam laughed.
"No." He simply said.
"You don't have an option. I got you out of jail, you owe me a favor." He made it pretty clear.
"Do you have any idea what he will do to you if he catches you trespassing?" He was terrified of him.
"We're not going to get caught, and you'll make sure of it." He just wouldn't listen.
"Don't you realize this is exactly what he wants? It's why he did this. Lexan, it's a trap. And you're walking right into it." He tried to reason with him.
"You will work non stop until you find a way to make a fullproof plan on how to get in and out of there safely." He wouldn't budge.
"I refuse to be a part of this. Brother you know better than to mess with him. What has gotten into you?" Liam was really trying here.
"Then you're of no use to me. I'll have you back in jail." There was no reasoning with him at this point.
"You did not just go through all that trouble, to deliver me back into their hands." He laughed.
"Try me." Liam shut up immediately.
Truthfully, Lycah was just doing this to get to X's head. Over the time, his journey on top meant stepping on everyone below him. Everyone recognized him. Everyone feared him. But not his brother. X had always believed that he was as good... Or better yet as bad as him, if not worse. He refused to bow before him, and it hurt Lycah's ego so much. He had been looking for a way to get to him for so long. And now that he had, he would utilize it. Take his time with it. Enjoy it, as he watched X break down and crumble. He just couldn't wait for the show to start.
Even if Lycah knew what Camilla was worth, it was of no importance to him. He had one mission and one mission only concerning her. To torture his brother, until he declared that he was beneath him... And maybe longer. There had never been any war between them... X was better than that. But the rivalry in Lycah's head, and the yearn to be on top did a number on his head. And he was miles away from sanity.
And this terrified X. He had a clue of Lycah's intentions. And the fact that he didn't know just how far he was willing to go made it even worse. He had to do something. And fast.
Funny thing, guys... I'm losing track of my characters. Can you believe I had to trace back the chapters just to find Liam's name! Crazy, right? I'm starting to wonder if I've used the same name on two characters🤔🤔🤔 Anyway, I hope you like how it's going. Don't forget to vote, share and comment. Stay safe.
Sweet LOVE;)
