There's this one person who's been rather keen on my updates today. I don't know you yet, but I really appreciate it. And I was done for the day, but this person has motivated me to write one more chapter. For that, I dedicate it to you, and I sure hope it makes you smile.

Camilla managed to get on her feeble feet, and the height of the building gave her a wide vision range. From a distance, she could see a group of motorcycles racing through the field of dry grass towards the building.

No, X! It's a trap! She banged the plastic glass with her bound hands. She had to do something about that. She forced herself to calm down so she would stop using a lot of oxygen. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts. Kiki... But that made her sad. Oh forget it! She pulled down her gag so she could breathe properly. She then tried loosening up the ropes by moving her hands back and forth. It was painful, but it was working.

Once her hands were in a position to move individually, she started untying her feet. She was fidgeting so it was a bit more difficult for her. Come on, come on! The pattern was too complex. The more she tried to get herself loose, the more she confused herself on how to undo it. This was only making matters worse.

Relax, Cam. You can do this. She motivated herself. Then she began undoing the rope step by step. As if tying it in reverse. It worked! Soon, her feet were free. She stood up immediately to see the situation outside. Looks like the Reds got to Liam's crew just before they could flee. But things were about to get worse. Police cars were swarming into the battleground like they owned it.

This was bad. Now each of them had two enemies to fight. Things may have been under control, but the moment cops got out of their cars, everything got out of hand. Everyone was panicking. It was too late for Liam's team to escape because they were surrounded. And Camilla couldn't do anything because her screams for help wouldn't get that far.

The day was getting hotter, both in situation and in temperature. The compartment Camilla was locked in absorbed heat so much, and it was getting harder to breathe. Pressure was high, oxygen levels were running low. She couldn't wait for X. She had to find her own way out of there.

With the help of her teeth, she managed to free her hands, though it came with some bruises and a bit of blood. It was worth it though. She began looking for a way to open that door. There was nothing in there that could help break it or open it. She tried hitting it with her fists and kicks, but she only hurt herself while the compartment stood firm. There was nothing much she could do. Just to save her energy and hope for the best.

"Surrender and you will remain unharmed. Any form of resistance will force us to open fire, and we will not hesitate to shoot to kill." One of the officers said through a speakerphone. Camilla got up to watch. Suddenly, one of the guys made a run for it. An officer fired and that's how the gunfight began. The gang's used the walls as refuge while the officers used the open doors of their bulletproof cars.

It was so difficult to get through that fatal commotion, but X asked his crew to cover him and he managed cross. Just before he arrived, Camilla saw a bullet brush through his leg and he fell. Luckily, he had just gotten to the safe zone. He got into the building, searched room after room for Camilla, calling out her name. Hoping for a response each time and that she was okay.

In the midst of all that chaos, he came across his brother hiding like the coward he was as his men risked their lives for him.

"I see you've never really grown up." He walked towards him. "You should be out there, fighting like a man."

"So should you." Liam challenged.

"I didn't start this. You did. It's now time you cleaned up your mess." He rolled up his sleeves.

Meanwhile, the cops were closing in. Most of the crew members were either wounded, or finding some other way out. It was getting worse by the second. Within half an hour, the firing had died down and now cops were invading the building looking for whoever they could get; but most especially, the head of Reds. Camilla didn't even know if they were concerned about finding her. Perhaps they thought she was moved.

Ambulances started arriving. She watched fingers crossed as the cops dragged bodies out, one by one. Four of them were Reds, but not X. She could spot him from anywhere. As more injured guys who were left behind were being helped out, Camilla spotted something she couldn't believe.

How? Why? She saw him walk perfectly fine into the building. Was that bullet really severe? She didn't think so. Her head started spinning. It couldn't be. She just couldn't accept it. He can't be one of them.

But she saw what she saw. A guy wearing a red hood with a red bandana, black jeans and boots being pulled out. That was exactly what X was wearing when he got there. Once they were sure they had searched the entire building and taken everyone, they began leaving. Ambulance first then the police vehicles. They couldn't risk an escape. They had been waiting for a moment like that for ages. All leaving behind one of the main reasons they came in the first place... Camilla.

Tears flowed down her cheeks. She lacked energy to even stand. She blamed herself so much. He wouldn't have come were it anybody else. She should have found a way to let him know that he was being set up. It was too late now. He was gone. And she would probably follow him soon. For a moment there, she didn't want to be saved. She had very little to live for as it is. No friends, a mother that wished her away, danger pouncing on her at every chance it gets. What kind of life was that? At least she'll be with Kiki and her Grandpa in the afterlife. The ones who really loved her.

Memories flashed through her mind as she leaned on the compartment door. With the supply of oxygen into her mind cut, she became delusional. She felt some peace. She was okay. It didn't hurt. She didn't even bother struggling to breathe. And just as she felt her spirit fading, the door slammed open, and she fell out. Right before her head hit the ground, a hand held it. She forced her eyes to open, but they wouldn't cooperate.

"I'm here now. It's okay." She heard a familiar exhausted voice say, full of panic and concern. He brushed her hair from her face, hugged her tight, kissed her forehead then rose from his knee, carrying her in his arms.
