Sam
'Gods what the hell happened' I groaned as I tried to move to my hoofs. 'Wait, JORDAN' My eyes snapped open on to see that I wasn't in the forest. I was in a white palace.
"Hello" I called out.
"Hello my child" A light airy voice said. A large white dragon with gold horns and claws materialized in front of me. I launched to my hoofs to back away.
"No need to be afraid dear" The voice spoke, the dragons mouth opened and closed with every word.
"Who are you" I said, trying to calm my heart rate.
"I am Mitsu, the dragon goddess of light" She said and I felt my heart skip a beat. I was standing in front of THE Dragon Goddess Mitsu. She is more beautiful than the ancient scrolls say.
"Where am I" I asked. I wanted to know if the girls were okay.
"You are in my home" The four winged dragoness replied.
"Why am I here"
"Because your time has come my dear"
"What do you mean" I was confused.
"For you to start your training at the Light Guardian"
"What, I thought that was just a legend" I said, shocked.
The legend of the Light Guardian is a very old legend that many have forgotten. Even I don't remember much of it.
"It's much more than a legend child"
* Thirty minutes of explaining later *
"Why me" I asked, "I'm not a warrior"
"That's what you think child, deep down you're a protector. Those like you don't think they can fight but when someone close to them is threatened, they can fight just as well as a warrior" She said, "When your friend was threatened you unknowingly unleashed you power of a guardian."
I looked at my hoofs and asked without looking up, "So now what, what do I do."
"Go to Solaria and to Queen DiamondRays, she will train you to master Light magic."
I looked up "What about my friends, I can't leave them" poor Thelma wouldn't survive if I left her.
"I know, they will be joining you as your team" She said turning around, looking ready to take off.
"Wait. What if I need you" I yelled. She looked at me and said, "Just look to the sky and say, ''Dragoness aldaw', 'ahtaj nurik" and I will come" She flapped her four wings and everything went black again.

Samanthas' legs curled in closer to her body. She squeezed her eyes shut. Her eyes opened a second later but her vision was very blurry. She blinked a few times, as her vision cleared she noticed that she was in her room. The sound of something rubbing against metal pulled her attention to behind her. She lifted her head and looked behind her to see her chinchilla, Roxana, staring at her with her soft black eyes. Her black and white coat glowed in the moonlight coming through the window near her cage.
The sound of hoofs on hardwood getting closer to her door drew her attention away from Roxana. She looked at her door as it opened and squinted at the bright light.
"Sam" the smooth voice of her father, Shane Light, whispered.
"Papa" she said, her throat felt dry. Shane let out a deep sigh and walked to his daughters bedside. He nuzzled her, she returned the affection.
"Thank gods you're okay"
Before Sam could ask what happened, she heard the honey sweet voice of her mother, Honey Light, say, "Hun?" The mare appeared in the doorway. Samantha pulled away from her father to look at her mother.
"Mama" Her voice came out as a whisper. The 25 year-old mare took notice and called to the fillies older sister, Golden Light, to get a glass of water. Her sister came in the room after their mother. She immediately noticed that her little sister was awake.
"Sam" she yelled. Shane quickly moved out of the 17-year-olds way. She wrapped both her front legs and her wings around her neck. Honey used her magic to take the glass and put it on the table to her right, behind Sam- Shane and Golden on the opposite side- and sat next to her daughters.
Once Golden let go of her little sister, Sam finally asked, "What happened, is Jordan okay" she started to worry.
"Jordan is fine, she's at home" Honey spoke to calm the filly.
"The Lightheart sisters told us what happened" Shane said.

Izzy
I moved my wings from my eyes as the light faded. I saw Sam's eyes glow bright white before fading back to her normal green. She suddenly collapsed.
"Sam" I yelled bolting to her, the others followed. Thelma put her right wing in front of Sam's muzzle and let out a deep sigh.
"She's still breathing" she said. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. It sounded like my little sis and Jordan did the same.
"We should get her home" Jordan said, her usual carefree voice tight. Sounding like she was trying to not cry. The rest of us mumbled some kind of agreement. Me and Liz each grabbed the base of her wings in our mouths- me her right, Liz her left- being careful not to hurt her. We took off with Jordan in front of us and Thelma under Sam. It took us over thirty minutes to get to the Light's house.
Jordan neighed loudly and I heard the sound of rushing hoofs on hardwood get closer to the door. The door opened to reveal Golden. It took her a second to take notice of her sister hanging between me and my sister. She opened the door wider and said to take her to her room, then rushed off to get their parents. Mr. Light took off to get a healer after Golden told him Sam was unconscious. After the healer looked over all of us- and said she would be okay- Mrs. Light lead us to the front door, said we should go home and rest, and we could come back in the morning.
