We walked through the tree line of the small forest that separates our place from the town. The humanoids of the group chatted away in the front, while me and the other pygmies stayed quiet. Though I was looking to my left at Sam a lot. Her naturally wavy dark green hair was curled perfectly and she wore the firefly pendent I gave her for her 16th birthday a few months ago.
After a few minutes we got to town to see every single light off. Creatures of all kinds were walking toward the center of town. "We turn off all the lights to see more of the stars and the moon" Chan, one of the fairies, explained. We followed the crowed of people, I noticed some had some sparkling body paint on. We joined the festival and met some anthros our age.15 minutes before 10:00
'I should find Sam and head for the cliff'. I walked though the crowd trying to find Sam, since she wandered off with Chan and Zach not to long ago. I found them away from the giant crowd of creatures and among our medium sized group, along with the three anthro wolfs we met.
I walked over to Sam and bumped my head against the left side of her neck and whispered, "Come on, I've got something to show you".
" What is it" she asked, her voice as low as mine.
"It's a surprise" I turned around and walked away. I heard the sound of her hooves on the concrete following me. I spread my wings, told her to follow, and took to the air. We landed in a tiny clearing, it was far enough that you couldn't see the bright purple glow the tree gave off. That and the cliff was high enough to hide it.
"Come on" I took off to the cliff before she could say anything.
"Thelma" she yelled, laughing as she ran after me. I stopped ten feet away from the edge. I motioned with my head to the cliff and she walked closer to the edge, I followed close behind.
She gasped loudly when she saw the view. It was even better in the moonlight, the tree seemed brighter.
"It's beautiful Thelma" she didn't look away from the tree.
"I remembered you saying that you wanted to see an Utraya mokri, so when I found this place I knew I had to show you" I sat by the edge. Sam sat next to me and I put my right wing around her. I expected her to stay the way she was, sitting up right, but she scooted closer and leaned into my side. I looked down at her and tightened my grip on her.
"Sam... "
"Thelma... "
We both spoke at the same time. Sam lifted her head, we looked each other in the eye, then we burst into a giggle fit. Once we calmed down Sam spoke up, "You go first".
" Sam... I love you. I have for years, I just never told yo-" she cut me off... by kissing me. I sat there for a few seconds before I closed my eyes and kissed back.

Third
The first sun slowly rose over the horizon, soon followed by the other two. The warm light moved up a cliff to reveal two sleeping forms. One had a deep orange coat with dark green hair. The other also had a deep orange coat but dark magenta hair, a blue, black and white wing wrapped around the other.
The light from Solarias' three Suns shone brightly, that brightness waking the young mare with dark green hair. She in turn snuggled deeper into the dark magenta hair, that came loose from its braid during the night. The others eyes opened to reveal bright baby blue eyes. The owner of those eyes nudged the other mare saying, "Come on Sam, get up".
"Don't wanna" came the muffled reply. Thelma chuckled at her, slightly moving her wing up and down Sam's back.
"The others are going to come looking for us if we don't get back soon" Sam snorted before removing her face from her new girlfriends neck. Her eyes slowly opened, her green eyes looked brighter in the early morning light.
"Come on, we can do some cloud running" Thelma teased, Sam took off and Thelma quickly followed.
