Jace felt somebody nudging him in bed. He frowned, wondering who would dare wake him up. And who could it possibly be since he had the night all to himself, he didn’t have any company. He felt the nudge again and he groaned irritably, opening his eyes.

“Wake up,” Katherine chuckled, landing on top of Jace. She raised herself up just enough to look down at him. Jace was shocked! Katherine? Here? On top of him?

“Katherine, how…where…?”

“Sshhh…,” she whispered before chuckling again. She brushed back his hair from his face and used her other hand to caress his torso. Jace couldn’t continue staring at her in puzzlement anymore because the feel of her hand intimately touching him like that was just too wonderful. He knew it, he just knew it; it wasn’t over and now Katherine was here to prove it. He knew that she’d realize that she couldn’t live without him, that he was her everything and without him, she didn’t have anything.

“Katherine,” said Jace deliriously, mesmerized by her gaze and stirred from the feel of her lithe body on his. Even if he knew Katherine would be with him eventually, he couldn’t believe that she was here, with him, her body on his, her hands all over him. Jace looked deeply into her eyes and saw the most beautiful woman he could always give his heart to, the one woman who made his heartbeat race at the speed of light. He cupped her head and brought it down to meet him in a searing kiss. Jace used his tongue to coax her to open her mouth and when she complied, he was in there, taking hr tongue and wrestling with it, giving it freedom to combat but at the same time remaining in control; Jace would have the upper hand of this kiss.

Katherine moaned her approval when Jace used his other hand to cup her bottom ad gave it an enthusiastic squeeze. She moved over him, tightening the grip she had of his hips between her thighs.  Jace broke the kiss before they could go any further because he wanted to get a good look at her. He couldn’t believe it, his Katherine is here, she’s come back home.

“Don’t ever leave me again, please, I don’t think I’ll be able to deal with it,” Jace rasped, having moved so that now she was underneath him while she was on top. Katherine cupped his cheek with her delicate hand, and gave Jace that same smile that made his heart burst with love and his body scorch with lust.

“Jace, I’m not going anywhere. I don’t think I can,” she replied. He didn’t know what that meant but he didn’t care. Katherine was here, she was back where she belonged and he was going to make up for lost time, something caught his eye in the distant and he notice a beautiful horizon out the window showing him the sunset. At that point, Jace looked around himself and that is when he noticed his surroundings.

This was not his hotel room or his bedroom in his home, this was some tropical blue room with a large bed of white sheets and large windows dressed in sher white curtains. He looked down at Katherine, his eyebrows furrowed, now confused to the situation.

“Katherine, how did we get here?” he asked her.

“Oh, Jace we flew, remember? It’s our honeymoon. I was trying to wake you up when you clearly ad other ideas, now wait downstairs for me in the lobby.”

The lobby? Honeymoon? Something’s not right here. Jace stroked Katherine’s face as he looked down at her, taking in her warm brown eyes and her hair messed up in curls.

“Sweetheart, we had our honeymoon three years ago…don’t you remember?”

Katherine laughed at Jace’s reasoning and landed up to give him a quick kiss on the lips.

“Get off me Jace, I still need to change. We can continue this later, just wait for me at the lobby,” Katherine said sweetly. Because he was so confused and a bit disorientated he granted her what she requested, otherwise his and her clothes would have disappeared and they would have made raw and crazy love all day and all night.
