She sat there staring out of space she was only seven at the time but depression has slowly crept over her and she felt so empty. She felt the tears stinging her eyes so badly but refuse to let them out.
She sat in her corner, the only place she knew as a home away from home, here she would cry and speak to the walls awaiting a response.

They were her company and sometimes it seems as if the walls are understanding but she felt like someone understands.
She looked from a distance and watch her mom embrace her smaller sister. She was nothing like her, she was only two at the time and her skin was so appealing, her face was like no other beauty was plastered in every area of her face.

She wished under her breath that she was brown so she could feel the same way, loved, appreciated, wanted. She envy her sister secretly as her family praised her from the moment she came from her mother's womb. She hated everyone around her for treating  her less.

But for some reason she thought she deserve it. She thought it was ordained for her to be treated less. She was quite uneasy with that fact though.
Her aunt entered the area where the family was praising her sister as if it was a Goddess before them.
Her stomach groaned at their sight n the tears then fell. They were so much she couldn't stop it even if she try. She was then lost in her thoughts wishing and hoping they could just love her even just once.

She was dragged from her thoughts when her aunt spoke
" So where is other one" she spoke with her brows narrowing in wonder.

She was actually the person is questioning she couldn't believe she was referred to as the other one. My name is Kim for Pete's sake she spat in her mind. And it's as if she heard her because she immediately rephrased.

" So where is Kim?" She said not happy at all. She was disgusted with the way her aunt called her name, it's as if she is just asking because it all looked too bad now.
She remained in her corner refused to move, moving and go to them would make things even worst. She remained in her home and kept silent. That's the best way to avoid things.

Her grandma decided to speak same time. She was the worst she worshipped everything's bout her sister and hated everything about her and that devastate her so much.
" Pretty baby, pretty brown baby, you are so cute, i hope you don't get black" Ma Rose said with a more than a cheerful face.
She was so happy lifting her grand child up n placing small kisses on her face.
Kim sat there and her stomach suddenly start to cave in.

What is so damn wrong with being black, this is so ironic they are all black and they madly worshipping a fair colour skin child, not a Carcassonne.

Her anger bubbled inside her so much n she began to feel her breath cutting she couldn't bare any of this pain any longer....
She was not big enough but she knew running away isn't the answer.
She slumped down in her pity and sorrow and close her eyes praying their voice could just go away and also for her self to be safe emotionally.
She decided that she is gonna stay there for the rest of the day, maybe then she will be rescued by something, anything
She closed her eyes and slowly dripped off into sleep
