The broken and the torn

Chapter 14

She looked at her suitcases packed and everything ready for school the following day.
She was about to start her college degree and she was uncertain more than ever. Uncertain of whether to leave her baby behind and go off to college, or stay home with him and be the perfect mother...

Tears sting her eyelids and she knew she was going to break down....
Leaving them behind really ached her soul....
But she knew she got to do what she must. She must start her career now so they can have a better future.
She was so grateful that her boss decide to send her off to college....
She was so glad for the opportunity but was confused as to why she have to keep it an ultimate secret from her bosses son and in laws.

Would they stopped her from funding it if they found out????

She had do many questions about that topic but she pushed it aside and focus on her engagement ring that glistened on her finger.....

She is engaged for Christ sake at the age of twenty to the man of her dreams. He have so many flaws but she was grateful. She was willing to work on him.

A mean a saying does say you can't them all perfect ain't it.

He was nothing compared to the man she thought she would have had her child with much less been engaged to.....

He was way shorter than her, she  had always prefer taller guys but something about Davar dragged her attention to him. They were friends for a good time and at first she wanted it to remain that way but her feelings betrayed her now here she is going to be the wife of the short guy she had fallen for...

A smile brushed her lips and she twist the ring on her fingers...

He proposed to her on April seventh, the same day she received her acceptance letter to college. She found it rather strange that he decide to propose to her on that specific date although he is always against marriage. She tried so many of times to discuss marriage with him but it was all in vain then he just pops up deciding that he wants to turn her in his wife.

Did he proposed to her because he is afraid of loosing her when she goes off to college????

She pushed the thought away quickly as she realized a stir of anger as she thought about it. He would have been so stupid if he thought that he would loose her.
She is not that type a girl. For all she knows, she loves him and that was enough for her, her love for him was sufficient to bring them through whatever even a long distance relationship. She is ready to give him her all more than ever....

She lay there shutting out all the thoughts as she knew sleep was a necessity at the moment. She have a early trip in the morning, to another side of the country to go to college and she need all the sleep she can get now...
Before the thought could escaped her mind, her eyelids began to close and sleep welcomed her within his arms....

She jumped at the sound of the alarm in her ears...
Oh my God!!!!
She need to get up from the bed before she is late for her registration. They have a four hour drive to take on and her body wasn't prepared for it. She wanted to sleep so badly.

She gathered herself together and went to take her bathe she knew it would have taken her sometime to get ready because she must do her makeup....

After a few minutes she was out of the shower, trying to get her self together. She knew one thing for sure she must look her best. She was going soooo far away, where she knows no one, she has to put herself together and stand out.
She put on her jeans pants with a light brown blouse. She studied herself keenly she is inlove with the way she looked her makeup was amazing, she put great time and thought into it.
She was really amazing at doing makeup. She learn this art when she became pregnant with Dantae and he face became an absolute mess, her makeup was what hide her flaws, and she further use it to hide the broken her, the part that not many see, she used her makeup as a mask and she hid it well....

Before she could gather her thoughts together, she heard the horn of the car downstairs beeping, she know they are waiting for her to get down stairs  so they can be on their way. She added some more perfume look in the glass and smile. Her image was pleasing. She stood still and gave herself the pep talk and the compliment Davar won't give her...

" Kim you can do this, you look lovely, you are beautiful, you are sexy, go and do your best and everything will be fine..."
With that said she turned away from the mirror and headed for the car....

And as expected Davar didn't even realize she was looking so stunning....
She shook her head in disappointment and turned her head facing the outside..... She must say, even to hear him say 'you look great' would help.

She pushed that thought away and the tear stung her eyes. She pushed it back quickly. She stared through the windows and her mind went blank..

She opened her eyes to realize that she has reached the end of her journey. She can't believe this is happening. She is now a college student which is good after so many years but it's also bad for the fact that she is leaving her family behind. Her stomach sank at that thought, she know she would miss them dearly....
She gathered her thoughts together and opened the door. The breeze that hit her nostrils was like other.bthe environment was so fresh, green and luscious..... She stood there for some time I taking the lovely scenery before he eyes. She could see the beach was a distance and she was so great for that. This is the place to be.
With that thought she found the enthusiasm and made her way to the auditorium where the registration is being done...

Her eyes grew in shock when she realized how many persons are there for registration and how many people is actually in front of her....
She knew she would not get through right now and Davar as to get home so he can pick up Dantae from Day care.
She stepped out of the crowded area and approach her fiance. He was leaning on the car and she could tell he is sad and worried at the moment.... She walked over to him and his head lifted the instance he saw her presence intruding him....
He managed to muster up a fake smile, and she knew it the moment she saw it. She wished she could just call this all off so she can be with them always, but she got an opportunity and she must take it.

She waited to attend college for far too long, she is now twenty one  and she know she must take this shot so after some years has passed she would be able to take care of their son the way she wants to....

He dragged her from her trance when he pulled her in to him..... She looked at him and her eyes held no emotions, he began to nibble on her ear making her  twisting and turning in his hold.... She succumbed to the nibbling and she found his lips immediately. He replied to her kiss passionately, with huger and longing...

She pulled away quickly and look at him now she couldn't hold back these tears. They just kept flowing uncontrollable and she was sobbing now.

He looked at her and took his handkerchief and Pat her face.... She knew she is going to miss them bad....

Before she could get another thought in her mind, Davar stopped her in her tracks.

" Kim you will be fine, Remy you doing this for us, we will miss me" he said with his voice very low....
She looked at him and nodded in agreement. She must tell him bye now he have to go..........

" Davar, please take care of yourself, i love you and I will miss you and Dante do much" she paused to catch her breath between sobs, " you have to go now I will be ok will call and let you know when I've gotten through"

She smiled touched her cheeks and sat in the car. The start of the ignition made her realize that she will not see them for a while and that hurts, she stepped away from the car and watched him slowly moved. She raised her hand to tell him bye, as he was doing the same. She watched the car until it was no more....
Her stomach then sank and reality hit her, she is here alone
