If the world wasn't so cold, then what would I have to fear?
Is it the fear that drives me to cherish what's so dear?
If the world wasn't so chill, then what's the need for heat?
No heat or warmth would ever be like the love or the need
To be who we all desired to be.
If the world wasn't so cruel, then would the word "utopia" even be good?
Of course, we want the good over the bad, but good turns into should;
Should turns into would which turns into could.
That's what I call wishful thinking.
If the world wasn't a level above Hell, then we would have no Heaven.
If we have no Heaven, then there's no point to have a religion.
If the world didn't have so much hatred that burned like a fire,
Then all the waters of Earth would turn into land and become "Land of the Liars,"
Ruled by the uppers who deem what is dire.
If the world didn't seem so terrible, then no role models would have been available.
No one would have been capable
To change the unthinkable and establish the renewable.
This is why the world is never sinking.
