As soon as he said that a gun shot rang out.
Shit.
I clutched the gun I had and turned to Darryl, George, and Zelk.
They're eyes were wide, as if they were caught off guard.
Always have your guard up. You can never be too careful. The voice said in my head.
I ran over to them and me and Darryl locked eyes. He looked terrified as I struggled to keep my expression neutral.
Never show weaknesses to anyone. Even the ones you trust.
Okay, uh, if you guys give me good ideas, I MIGHT post another chapter today. Because idk where to go in the story from here. Sorry.
