It's been 3 days since I posted a actual chapter. This is the first time I haven't posted daily, but I couldn't think of a way to continue. So ty KawaiiEdits12321  for the idea :)

Zak POV

We all walked out of the building, not knowing where to go. We were searching for a way to get around the fence. We were all pretty quiet until George approached me.

"So what's wrong?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked, innocently.

He rolled his eyes, "Don't play dumb, what wrong?"

I sighed, "I don't feel that well."

"So why didn't you tell us that?" He asked me.

"Because I didn't want to be the reason why we are held back. Plus I want to leave as soon as possible." I replied.

"Okay." He said, "Do you need to rest now?"

"No I'm good." I replied, giving him a small smile.

"Are you su-"

He was cut off by Darryl, "What are you guys talking about?"

At the same time George and I both said, "Nothing."

Darryl raised an eyebrow but didn't question any further.

George looked like he was about to start another conversation but he was stopped by a yell. We all turned to look, Zelk and Clay were grabbed by two men. They both had guns to their heads.

"If any of you move, we'll shoot." One man said.

The other man glanced at me and said, "And drop your gun."

I slowly bent down to put it down. They watched me carefully as I was about to place it on the ground.

What do I do?

Come on, you need a plan.

I thought of something, right before I placed it down. I aimed the gun towards one mans leg and shot. The bullet hit him in the ankle, causing he to yell and let go of Clay.

Clay took that opportunity and hit the man that was holding Zelk. The man let go of Zelk and they both ran in opposite directions.

The men began to fire at us and I lifted my gun.

"Guys run," I said, "I'll catch up."

George and Darryl turned and ran away from the men. I stood there for a few seconds shooting back at them, until no more bullets would fire.

I ran out of amo.

Now I turned and ran, not knowing where I was going. I didn't see where George and Darryl ran, so I was on my own. I ran to the left hoping not to get hit. I entered an alley which led to another turn.

I turned right and heard footsteps behind me. One of them were chasing me. I quickened my pace and quickly began to feel light headed.

I took a deep breath and continued running. The more I ran, the more heavy my breathing became. I felt myself slow down a bit.

Shit.

Pain hit me as I ran until my eye lids felt heavy.

The world seemed to spin around me. I tripped and landed on the concrete floor. My eyes closed and the last thing I heard were footsteps approaching me.

I should've rested before we went out.
