I fell in love with you the way I fell in love with the sky. Late at night when it's quiet. And your breath evens out. Calm. Soft. Safe. Early in the morning when the sun covers our life. Like the blanket over our tangled legs and your arms around my body. Messy hair. Sleepy eyes. Comfortable. I fell in love with you the way I fell in love with the stars. You captivated me. With the light that you provide my soul with. Every time I look at you, you are more beautiful than before. I fell in love with you the way I fell in love with the clouds. They way you paint pictures in my mind, using nothing but everything that you are. Wholesome. Unavoidable. I am in love with you. I fell in love with you the way I fell in love with the trees. The way you make it feel so easy to breath. I find myself intrigued with every color that changes in you. The way you allow yourself to grow so magnificently. You planted roots in my heart. I fell in love with you the way I fell in love with the seasons. Loving you like I love the fall when the world changes colors and parts of you fall onto me like leaves when the wind hits. Breath taking. Pure. You are my favorite. Loving you like winter when things get cold but so very bright. Not really caring how numb my body will go because I know heat is waiting for me. when we fight and my chest feels a little heavy and my hands start to shake but I know I'll be able to hold you and just like a cup of coffee in the mornings you will warm me up. Loving you like spring time, knowing that only growth is to come and when the rain falls against my window like my heart pounds against my chest I look forward to you everyday. I love you like summer. When clothes come off and everything is little more carefree than usual. I fell in love with you the way I fell in love with the ocean. You make me feel peaceful and light. As if bad things aren't really all that bad and good things are so much more than good. And I constantly find myself lost in all that you are but like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I fell in love with you the way I fell in love with the mountains. The very sight of you stops me in my tracks. I want to explore every part of you. I fell in love with you the way I've never fallen in love before. With the way your eyes light up when you talk about anything that excites you. The way you look at me like I'm The most beautiful thing you've ever seen. How you bounce your leg when you're angry and pout when you're confused. How you always hold my hand the right way and never loosen your grip. The way you grab my shirt when we kiss. The way you squeeze me when you fall asleep. Sleepy kisses. I fell in love with the way you push my hair out of my face even though I swear I want it there. How perfectly you fit in my arms and how right it feels having you there. The way you pour creamer into your coffee cup before the coffee. How when you laugh my whole world stops and it's easily become my favorite sound. The way you sing songs to me in the car. Or at home when you make them up. How you remind me every night that you love me. I'm in love with your smile. And how it makes my heart race. I am in love with you.
