Rye POV
As I open my eyes I realize I'm gasping for air. The lights flashing around me red and blue almost like there are cops everywhere. As I start to settle I see and feel that I'm moving. I look down to see I'm in a cage moving upwards. "Help!" I what I yell over and over, though no one was there. I hit the side of the cage trying to grab onto something. A noise almost something like a zombie gets louder and soon enough something pops from the side. I scream and return to the middle of the cage still screaming help. Soon the cage suddenly stops. Lights from above take me blinded.
I let my eyes almost adjust to the light when I see boys stood around me looking down. All of a sudden a boy jumps in. "Welcome to the glade greenie." He says. He pulls me up and throws me out, leaving me in front of them. A blonde suddenly catches my eye him looking apologetic for a second then starts giggling.
I push the people out of the way and run. Run as I have never before. "We've got a runner!!!" One of the boy's hell. I then forget everything. What's my name? How old am I? Why can't I remember anything?! I fall or should I say trip, taking me out of my thoughts. They laugh. They all laugh. Two boys pick me up and drag me into a pit and lock me in. A man soon opens it up. "Hey, greenie." He says. "the names Blair." He introduced himself. He pulls me from the hole, taking me around what the boy said earlier was the glade. I follow him until we meet the same blonde from before. "Greenie this is Andy, he is in charge when I'm not here." Blair says. "Good thing your always here then." He says giggling. That laugh. "Saw you running, thought you had the chaps to be a runner, until you face planted into the ground." Andy said.
He turns to walk away and I look back. Damn how can he have a great ass? "Greenie stop staring at Andy, you can talk to him about it later." Blair said laughing. "H-how?" I asked confused. "I know a lot of things."
What kind of things? Why am I here? What's my name!? I can't remember anything!
