I woke up at the middle of the night because of quiet footsteps. I rubbed my eyes sleepily and decided to see who was awake. He wasn't from Biana's room. Every girl were sound asleep except for me. I tiptoed out of the room and followed the footstep to the kitchen. Fitz was in there, drinking a glass of water with a worried expression on his face. Why is he awake at midnight? I wondered. "Fitz? You okay?" I asked. Fitz jumped a little and stuffed something he has been holding into his pajama pocket. "Oh hi Sophie," he said nervously. "Why are you out in the middle of the night?"
"I could ask the same thing to you." I replied.
"Um, I just had some... stuff to think about."
"Is it the Neverseen?"
"No, it's a completely unrelated subject."
"Anything I can do to help?"
"No it's fine."
"Okay. But I want you to know that I'm always here to help."
"Okay Sophie. Good night"
"You too." Even after I went back to sleep, I couldn't get rid of his worried expression or the object he hid in his pocket. I would have to grill Biana for the information.
