The villain was huge and wild, rampaging through the street on beast-like feet and hands, if they could be called hands any longer. From his face, on his chest and down to the tail that thrashed behind him he was covered in thick dark fur, his jaw lined with sharp fangs. For a while as he watched the scene, the Red Riot couldn't see the girl they had mentioned to him through the chaos but she soon caught his eye.

From the distance he was at he spotted her pale arms gripping to the rough brown hair on his neck, her light hair messed up over her dirtied, bruised face. Even from that distance, Red Riot could see her terrified expression, her eyes scrunched shut, her mouth parted slightly letting out quiet screams he couldn't hear as she clung to the villain for dear life.

It set his heart on edge.

"Thundershock," Kirishima addressed the blue-streaked hero behind him without turning his head. "What's the info on his quirk?"

"His name is Rabid." The masked Pro-hero answered, taking a step forward to be in line with the red-head. "We have some history of petty crimes on our data base that he has committed but there's nothing major. Mostly robbery and property damage. I guess he's stepped up his game kidnapping that girl and holding her like a human shield."

He said the last part with a bitter laugh before he continued. "As for his quirk, its known as Run Wild. We don't know much about it except that he can enlarge and turn his body into an almost pure animal or beast."

Kirishima nodded soundlessly, his eyes already tracking the movement of the huge villain. With a few moments he had a plan.

"Move!" His voice just reached the struggling inexperienced heroes that faced Rabid already as his feet began to move across the ground. He barely had time to meet the others gazes as he passed them, not reacting to the calls of surprise as he surged forward, faster and faster towards the villain. The alpha's feet pounded the black concrete, his skin shifting and hardening up his arms with little cracks spreading down his forehead. Out of the corner of his eye, the villain spotted his approach as turned around with an inhuman roar. When Kirishima was in range, a huge forearm lifted from the ground and took a swipe at him. Boots skidded the concrete, turning up rubble and dust and scattering them. Red Riot's hardened hand dragged across the ground to keep balance as he threw his head to the side, leaning his shoulder towards the ground. Outstretched claws narrowly missed Kirishima's face as he dodged under the powerful blow.

Red Riot quickly stabled himself back onto his feet, coming close to the huge form of Rabid and landed a few blows to his chest before jumping away again. This earned a stumble and small growl of pain from the beast of a villain.

"You're slow!" Red Riot stood on his toes at a safe enough distance, his face quirked in a grin. "I'll be getting that girl back in no time."

From behind Rabid's narrow angry gaze, Kirishima caught the eye of the girl. Her eyes were a deep red, her tears holding terror as she met the Pro-Hero's gaze, but something else flickered there when she saw his confident grin. When Kirishima saw her face, he saw a little bit of hope.

Slam!

Kirishima flew sideways as a beast-like arm smashed into his body, throwing him into a building wall. The dust trail he left behind billowed in the wind, covering where the sound of crumbling rubble echoed through the mostly empty street.

The villains look of satisfaction didn't last long as the dust cleared and Kirishima let out a huff. His arms were raised in front of his face, his quirk running parallel creases and cracks all over his body. His feet were still on the ground as he pushed himself properly onto them to stand again. "I'm impressed." he puffed out, keeping up his shark-toothed grin. "You pack quite a punch, Rabid."
