Gothorita, Give it Your bALLoon!!

Izzy heads out for school early as Sylveon and Eevee play. On their way to school Izzy spots Raya and Gothita testing their psychic balloon skills. They continue as Izzy goes on ahead to school. Arriving at school, Izzy is surprised when a sleeping Pikipek falls out of her bag. Later Professor Sequoia informs his students that tomorrow's extracurricular lesson will involve connecting with sea Pokémon which will involve going fishing. Outside Team Forest are spying on them and wonder what Izzy is doing going to school when they are spotted by Drew Wall, who states that they seem suspicious, but Team Forest claims that they are just tourists. Back in class, Professor Sequoia tells Raya she will be in charge of the lesson. Later Izzy and Raya are walking home with Raya offering Izzy one of her fishing rods when Izzy decides to show Raya one of Gothita's techniques unaware that Team Forest are spying on them. Down on the beach, Rotom provides data on Gothita which includes making psychic powered balloons.

Izzy realizes that this was what Raya was doing that morning. Raya explains that she met Gothita here when it was being attacked by several Team Skull Grunts but she soon dealt with them. After Gothita was treated by Nurse Joy, Gothita agreed to be her partner. Gothita manages to make several psychic balloons but they are small and quickly pop. Raya explains her dream is to make the biggest psychic balloon possible to make her spend more time in the air. Another balloon attempt results in a bigger balloon which flies away before popping. Spotting Metagross excites Izzy as Raya explains that it is her Ride Pokémon. Overhearing this, Team Forest decided to capture as many Ride Pokémon and Zigzagoon decides to come up with a plan. Inside Raya's house, Izzy meets Raya's sisters Sierra and Cameron who excited to see Sylveon. They take her into the next room to play which starts to bother Sylveon. Izzy tells them to stop and they see Izzy. Their antics annoy Sylveon which results in her shocking everyone.

The next morning, the class gather where Sun wears a protective suit. Professor Sequoia hands over teaching duties to Raya and despite being nervous begins the lesson. The class get on the Metagross and Xatu who take them to their fishing spot. Raya begins her lesson by saying that many psychic type Pokémon live here and they cast their lures into the water as Sylveon dips her tail in. Raya instructs the class and the best course of action before managing to reel numerous Pokémon. Izzy and Uma soon get bites but their reactions aren't enough to reel it in successfully. Saburo hasn't caught anything as Athens isn't keen on the others distracting. Sylveon gets a bite on her tail which ends up being a Mime jr. Sylveon flicks Mime jr and it lands in Izzy's hand but it splashes and goes back into the water. Sun gets a bite which turns out to be a Musharna and tries to reel it in. Raya and Izzy rush to help Sun with Izzy leaping across the water only to be hit as Musharna jumps out of the water sending her into the water as the line snaps as Professor Sequoia decides the time has come to take a break.

They take their break on a small island where Professor Sequoia gives them 15 minutes to relax. As the Pokémon play, Team Forest swoop down in their balloon and capture the Ride Pokémon along with several others. Team Smoke start to leave but Vila notices the extra Pokémon. Their actions annoy Raya as Izzy tells Sylveon to attack, only to be stopped when Team Forest points out that the Pokémon will be hurt. Izzy comes up with another plan and has Sylveon jump on Rotom to gain some momentum. This allows Sylveon to fly towards the balloon and break through the net. Raya gets Gothita out to make a large psychic balloon which allows the Pokémon bounce off and land safely in the water. Team Forest aren't happy with this, and Vila sends out Skuntank, whose attack is deflected back at the balloon. Izzy has Pikipek use Mirror Move which pops the balloon. This sends Team Forest falling towards the ocean, only for Hariyama to run across the water and catch them before running off. After Raya checks on the Pokémon, Izzy compliments Gothita's work. Gothita creates a big balloon at Izzy's request, which floats her and Sylveon  into the air, only for it to pop sending them falling down.
